What's the status on this and the ogre minis? It's been some time since GenCon, which is when I believe they were delivered to some people. Any word from Crocodile?
Our distributor sent out an e-mail saying they're in stock, but their actual database isn't showing that. We're trying to find out more.
Crocodile's next wave will depart from the single-volume theme. It's slated to contain characters from several different volumes.Will there be any more 'Iconic' figures coming out along soon? I went looking for more but didn't find who I was looking for.

I was actually hoping for the opposite. As cool as it is to have the iconics in miniature 3d form, I'd get much more use out of major NPCs and new monsters from the adventures. Maybe I should put this opinion on Crocodile's site and not here, though, since you guys don't have anything to do with what minis they make.

I mostly wanted just one of them as I used the picture as the physical basis for a new PC I'm playing. Sometimes it's hard to find that right mini... After that, bring on the rest!

Sweet image - if she's anything like the standards of the other Croc PF minis she'll be another must-have...
As a side note to this - has anyone been painting up their PF minis?

Yes I have: Seoni, Valeros, the Skinsaw Man, the Lamia, the Sinspawn (though that one didn't turn out that well) and the Quasit.
I've rediscovered painting minis with the pathfinder line, and have since painted other stuff as well, mainly for my characters (inclusing one of those high elf spearmen from LotR minis).
I think I'll make some pictures to brag (not that my skills are that great. I'd say about 10 times as good as DDM rares - so pretty amateurish ;-))

I'd really like to see at least one Stone Giant mini. Mokmurian would be great, but I understand the desire to get the iconics out.

[would love to see a Shoanti barbarian in the style of CotCT's Krojun Eats-What-He-Kills or some Ulfen]

We're wrapping up the 12 Iconics first, then we'll proceed with the Iconic villains from the covers of the new adventure paths. Generic characters and creatures are a possibility, depending on how sales go. Any miniature we choose to make needs to be something that will have a high demand, in that: A) everybody wants one (like Seoni), or B) DM's want to buy a bunch (like the Goblins).
Sounds like the minis line is selling as I thought it would.. hit and miss.
The problem is IMHO, they're metal and they're unpainted. A lot of people don't know how, can't, or just don't want to paint. Metal minis are also more expensive then say... prepainted plastic ones, so buy a mini you never paint/used is a bigger investment.. far more then say prepainted plastic ones that have their own ruleset incase you buy minis that you can't uses as a player.
And that's the problem with D&D accessories. SOOOOOOOOOOOO many of them are "DM-only" items, meaning if you're not DMing, you're not using them. Such items just aren't going to sell to a lot of people because to buy something and not use it, is a waste of money.
Just look at how WOTC is changing their mini line, they're streamlining it to make it appeal more to players. Why? Because D&D isn't Star Wars, people aren't going to buy minis "just because." The Star Wars minis line does better because it's got 3 types of people it can sell it to, the DM, the player, and the Star Wars fan.
thing with the SW minis, unless you pay out the butt for those Ultra rare, all your gonna get is Joe the plumper type mini. Of course thou, if you want a zabrak jedi, then I guess Luke or Han has no use to you.
I think moving the mini line over to plastic would be better in the long run, even thou I'm a metal mini fan (I'll take metal over plastic any day), the slow releases of the Pathfinder minis has kinda soured the line for me. I mean yah I have no group to use them in, but what if I did? Keep the iconics in metal, as those seem to be targeted toward painters & the rest put them in plastic. I mean Paizo is getting most of their stuff from China already, just add it to the list, ha ha.
As far as the quality of the mini so far, it's fantastic! I was never into Crocs other line, so I never picked up any, but from the first day I got to hold & look over the first Pathfinder minis I was hooked, with the Iconics being the best figures of the line (epically Seoni, very nice figure).
That said it is nice to see the iconics get made but what about critters like the Scarecrow golem (which did get made, thank goodness)? Not many minis out there, unless you take the time to convert would pass as that one. With Pathfinder being it's own thing, it would have been nice to get minis of the creatures that are featured in the adventures.
Its good that Pathfinder is similar enough to "normal" D&D that most figures can be interchanged & used.
Bittersweet about the way the line will go, but right now I guess it doesn't matter to me, as I've found myself in a financial hole right now that even if every NPC, monster was made I wouldn't be able to get it right now.
It is nice that Karzoug & other villians will get made as well, hopefully maybe even a updated Tar-Baphon as well (current mini to me just doesn't do him justice) will come down the line someday as well.

Plastic minis, on the other hand, apparently require huge expenses up front, huge fixed costs. That means if you want the cost per item low enough to sell them for a reasonable price and still make a profit, you'll have to procude vast amounts of minis.
That means you'll have to sell vast amounts of those minis. I'm not sure that Pathfinder can get those numbers, especially not for special stuff like sinspawn.
Don't get me wrong: I'd welcome plastic Pathfinder minis (and, from what I've heard, Paizo would welcome them as well), but it seems as if they weren't feasible.

so I'm guessing that she'd be one of future months... reaper is including the croc molds and some of their own, so who knows if it will be the same one. Paizo also bought out the backstock of Croc's figures just before Gencon, then between GenCon and the move, I'm not sure if they're back in the inventory yet, (or if she were even included in the backstock) so you might want to keep checking.
