Too bad the product couldn't include notes about how to adapt the new deity into FR, Greyhawk, and now Golorian pantheons.
Nope, but I'm sure people will offer their own ideas...I definitely could too. It's already been suggested that Dajobas might make a great incarnation of the Devourer in Eberron on another messageboard.
People will probably offer their own ideas on adaptation in our Forums too.
Actally, truth be told, because Dajobas is a "long dead god recently returned" he is pretty easy to drop right into any coastal campaign in any setting. I kind of designed him that way just in case people wanted to snatch him up and throw him into their world.
At the risk of sounding like a heretic, how hard is it to use some of the information on Dajobas for a cult of Sekolah? I know, "evil shark god" is pretty similar right there, but beyond that, are there any hiccups in trying to port the information over?

Sounds like a good fit to me now that you mention it!

KEJR, I just finished reading the article. I think you could definitely use large chunks of it (particularly the crunchy bits) for Sekolah. Dajobas counts Sahuagin as some of his primary worshippers, so there’s crossover there. The article contains a new monster which would work great as a sort of Sahuagin shock trooper, some new feats (which would suit sahuagin to a tee) and a new prestige class which I think could also work for you. You’d probably need to change the creation / origin myths a bit to suit Sekolah though.

Yep! Sahuagin factor big into Dark Vistas #1: Razor Coast. It's pretty cool actually cause
Spoiler:
Before Dajobas' return, they were enslaved by Harthagoa, now that their god is coming back to the world, they are in the midst of a civil war...kind of a tug of war between serving the demon kraken and returning to Dajobas' gory fold
Alright. Looks neat, but I'm confused. Is this fluff, crunch, or an adventure? I went to your website for Sinister Adventures and thought, "Ah, adventures." But then, I'm not sure they are.

So, I stand . . . or rather, sit . . . perplexed.
This a "Core Beliefs" style article (though it reads more like a Demonomicon entry truth be told) about a long dead god recently returned from the black deeps of the sea.
It includes a good mix of fluff and crunch (new items, feats, a new monster, and a new PrC). Great fodder for any dark sea faring campaign, and especially awesome as a supplement for Razor Coast.
Richard Pett's got a swampventure out next month; not sure how long it is or what level and all.
I bet if people crunch this up, they'll make more.
Pett's swamp adventure, called Still Waters is longer than Blood Waters...probably about 12,000 words when all is said and done (a fairly good-to-medium sized Dungeon magazine adventure is a good analogy).
It rocks.
BTW, I guess I'll have to write an adventure called Black Waters or something like that, so we can have a Waters trilogy of Logue, Pett, Vaughan. ;-)
And it's not the only adventure on the schedule for next month. Shrine of Frenzy is coming out at the same time.

Well, things got a bit hectic for a while, but not that I've finally had time to pick this up, this was brilliant. While Dajobas comes across as generally destructive in the article, a lot of the ideas sounded great for a Sekolah related theme.
In fact, for anyone familiar with the Realms, the article gave me tons of ideas to use for a "Threat from the Sea" era game, with Sekolah "hunting" the faithful of other gods such as Umberlee, and sending out wereshark created "converts" all over the place. I really made me want to dig out my Sea of Fallen Stars resource and figure out how to . . . ahem . . . dive into this.

Well, for instance, two guys get up on stage and pretend to be standing at a bus stop. Now only one of these guys has an umbrella, and when it begins to rain...
