So, I have two questions.

1) What would anyone need with SIX 24-sided dice?

2) Is Black, the new Blue, Red, White AND Yellow?

Seriously though, I would be more tempted to buy a set of six different colors, than a tube of one color. Assuming, someone answered question 1 to my satisfaction.

Obviously, a critical on a d12 weapon with an x2 multiplier rolling the 1 again if it comes up. ; )

Or, um . . . an, um . . . encounter table where you only have 24 types of encounters that you want to put on it?

Because you just NEED every possible type of dice.

And they did have green!

And, your party of four had separated into six distinct groups and it was necessary to roll all encounters simultaneously?

well... i got a d7 so why not a d24...

But multi colored would be better.

Ignoring the color choices on the page above. Koplow does not seem to be a company that sells individual items to consumers. They do have an item #12320 which is an assorted set of d24s. While assorted does not necessarily mean all available, I suspect Paizo could arrange for them to be arranged as such.

I have found it useful to have one d24 to curve a percentile spread.

As a DM instead of having the players use d100 or d10 x 10 + d10 which gives a straight distribution.

Have them try d20 + d20 + d20 + d20 + d24 - 4. This will keep them in the average for some time.

Qadira (RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16)

In all seriousness, if skill adds or BAB adds simulate the advantage of experience and skill, you can use a d24 (replacing the d20) to simulate an advantage in luck or talent. It doesn't always give you an improved roll, but it has a chance to give you something better.

Maybe let everybody roll d24's when under the effects of bardic inspiration.

In 4e++ (the next rule version), attributes will be d24 based, not d20.

This way, not only will you have to re-buy all new books, but replace all your old dice with new dice.

It is progress.

Hi Everyone,

The reason we don't have the appropriate images for some of these sets of dice is because they don't seem to exist on the web anywhere (including on Koplow's site) and we were too busy to scan them when the came in on someone's order (if anyone has even ordered those colors from us before). Let me know if any of you can find an image out there that we can use.

Well, they added red to the images. I still would be more tempted with a tube of six colors. And Jeff, thanks for the response.
