Will this be available to order after GenCon? Possibly signed? If so, sign me up!

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

I certainly hope it will be available.

I would assume (always dangerous) that if there are any left after Gen Con, they will be offered for sale. The alternative is to just keep them (or throw them away, I suppose), and that's a big waste of product.

Paizo Employee (Technical Director)

Anything left after the show—and we do plan to have some left—will be offered for sale after we get back.

Cool! Will you be able to get those signed?

Now that WotC has announced they are going to a 4th Edition ruleset in 2008, will the Pathfinder campaign be converting too, or starting off in V3.5? Personally, I wouldn't mind if it stayed in V3.5 the entire series. There's quite a few of us not to happy about yet another ruleset change.

The first two Adventure Paths will be 3.5 (even though 4th edition will be out before the second one ends). Beyond that, we have not yet made any decisions.

And that, IMO, is the right way to go about it.

Good question. That's what I'm wondering.

It's cool that there's a chance (other than eBay) to get the alternate cover for those of us who can't make it to GenCon, but signed copies would be even cooler.

Any idea on when will this alternate cover issue be available for purchase? Tomorrow, maybe? :-P

Paizo Employee (PostMonster General)

It's available for purchase now. Supplies are extremely limited -- we sold out what we took to Gen Con.

Got mine... (evil chuckle)...

Aloha! What exactly do I get for $19.99? Is that a subscription or just the first book?

Taldor (Paizo Charter Superscriber)

Just the first book with a limited alternate cover... (hrhr ... already placed an order)

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Will a PDF for this alternate cover issue will also be available for download? Will it be included with the order of the print copy?
Thank you!

Paizo Employee (Technical Director)

The only thing different about this version is the cover image on the front and the ISBN/UPC on the back. So there's not a lot of point in a PDF version....

Qadira (Pathfinder Superscriber)

why is the Pathfinder Journal Chapter black and white in my issue?

It was B&W for everyone in the first one. It was supposed to be a sepia tone, but there was a communication error and it was left B&W. See Pathfinders #2 and up for the standard format for that section.

By the way, we have fewer than 75 copies of this cover left. And when it's gone, it's gone!

I received my first edition of the pathfinder adventure path and I must say, AWESOME! The color and quality of content is far superior to any other module I have ever seen. And for the price it is truly a bargain.

signed would be way cool, and I would pay extra to see that. It seems only right being the the first Pathfinder AP every made and all.

It's down to 30 now...

Qadira (Pathfinder Superscriber)

What are the number left on the other issues?

We have fewer than 100 copies each of 1, 3, 5 and 6 right now, but unlike this special cover, we will probably reprint those. (2 has been out of stock for a while, but the reprint should be arriving any day.)

Anybody have a copy of this alternate cover AP that they are willing to part with? If so, e-mail me with condition, and price.
