Hooray! Paizo listens to their customers once again! (Not that we expected anything less, of course.)

A question: Are these cards going to be a different color or design than the Critical Hit Deck? It would be nice if they were so as to easily discern one deck from the other and avoid mixups.

YES!

naw - make them look the same so you can shuffle them together and have a 50-50 chance of a fumble or hit - but I'm an evil DM....

Lillith - liek the new avatatr

Man, too many awesome things to buy in January!

All the more incentive to take care of your tax return early, eh?

Wow, I'm just so excited by Paizo. I'm gonna go mortgage my house.

This is way too cool! We don't want to wait, get some hirelings and pump these things out.

Shiny.

Awesome, pure joy.........

Buying this ASAP.

*Looking at watch*

*drools...*

*stares blankly at calendar*

Must have it.

WOW. This is definitely a must-buy for me!

Can't wait. Love the Critical Hit Deck.

As this is coming out as early as january, can we expect to see a preview soon?

I love the box art. Made me chuckle remembering the faces of my players when the dreaded 1 comes on top after a roll.

When are we getting a preview of some of the cards? Will they feature the "bloody one" on the back?

The blog entry says we'll get previews soon.

I just had to preorder it today. Can´t wait to spring it on my players :-)

Stefan

I saw the blog post title of "Fumble at the Printers" and my first thought was "Oh no, the Fumble deck is delayed because of printing errors!". I felt my wallet's heart beating for the first time since Pathfinder started, but once I finished reading the post it was back to the land of the dead for my little leather friend. You guys are bleeding me dry here, what with your quality products and all!

I've been psyked about this since GenCon. Can't wait to get it.

Not at all! Being excited about future Paizo products to the point you can't wait to know more is totaly normal. Right??? Yeah, I'm sure it's normal...

*Goes back to his favorite corner of the room, takes a foetal position, sticks tumb in mouth and rocks back and forth waiting for more news/spoilers on Paizo products.*

I am way too excited for this.

You think you're excited? I've already got a card capsule and clear card protectors ready and waiting for this! I used the female demon from rook for the critical hit, so I'm going with the angel for the critical fumble...*sigh* man, I have no life!

It is nearly here. Is there a particular release date that we should be aware of?

Paizo Employee (VP of Operations, Web Store Manager)

We hit a snag at the printer and this project has been set back by a few weeks. I'll keep you all posted as I learn more!

--Jeff

I can't wait! The poor bastards (aka my players) are going down!

Already have this bad boy on pre order. Now to find a bunch of suckers, er, players to use them with.

So when in January do this get released? It's already the 10th and we don't have previews, let alone a product. Any update, Paizo?

We have the files finished and are working with our printer to get it on press. At this point it's looking more like a Feb release.

Is there a preview of a couple of cards like you did for the critical hit deck?

We'll preview it as we approach the release date.

Thanks for the response, but are you responding to a work-related issue on a Saturday? During the NFL playoffs? While the Seahawks are playing? Of course, all I got is a white snowy screen on my HDTV.

Football? Why would I want to look at burly guys in tight pants for several hours? I follow the WNBA's Seattle Storm.

Lisa is watching the game, of course, but, given that she's a lifelong Packer fan (and actually owns two shares of the team) she's rooting *against* the Seahawks. Looks like that's going well for her.

Well now that was the first thing i thought of when i bought the critical hit deck. "Wouldnt it be awesome if there was a critical fumble deck?". Of course my players didnt like me saying that out aloud. Looks like their jinx is my dream come true!

Cant wait to see it released!

Man, my masochistic players are going to be sad that this has been pushed back. They love the critical hit deck and for some strange reason have been clamoring for me to get the critical fumble deck as well.

Now this is expected March? Not to be rude or anything, but these delays are frustrating. I had all of the rest of my products selected to be shipped with the Critical Fumble Deck (As I expected it to be out early to mid January at the time) because I'm cheap and the $5 I'd save appealed to me. February was fine, but now it's March.

Oh well. When can we expect previews?

I think Jason will start with the previews soon.

Sigh. And this time, it wasn't even us being late. We had a last-minute problem at the printer that required some creativity—and some delays—to solve.

Aww, now we have to wait until March =(

Sadness.

(Pathfinder Campaign Setting Superscriber)

new reason for March to be called "March Madness" :)

RM

A preview with a d6 or d10's worth of critical fumbles to use in our current games would be cool.

/wink

Actually, it should be in our warehouse in February. It is at the printers right now and has been for a week or so already. Late February, but February nonetheless.

We still don't have a firm date... but it's looking like it will be March after all.

Thanks for the feedback. Well, then I will have to complete my Feb order without it, I guess...

Stefan

Now it says April. It keeps getting further away. Hope you guys worked out the problems you were having with the printing.
