Long before any boardgame, Paul Jaquays was astounding the masses with a D&D scenario of surprising depth and detail... The dreaded Dark Tower.

I remember that dungeon. Anyone know the details of this version (e.g., level-range, author, etc.)? If they've updated the original to 3.5, this is a must-have for me. Whatever happened to Paul Jaquays anyway?

I have the 3.0 version from a few years back, so I am not sure how different this one is. The one I have is the same adventure as the original just using updated monsters. I'd need to look at it again, but I seem to remember it as being just as deadly as the original (which I need to pull out of storage).

I only have a copy of the original module. Darn thing was hard to find and then when I bought it they announced the 3.5 version. In all my searching I never heard anything about a 3.0 version... pity.

Level range: 8-10 according to the Goodman Games site. I remember running this adventure for my friends when I was like 14 years old.

I'm glad to hear this updates the original! I'll be getting this for the nostalgia factor alone :)
This is sold out already? Wow! I blinked and missed it, which is a shame, since this is among my very favorite 1E modules. Hopefully there will be more forthcoming.

I got one at www.nobleknightgames.com, so if Paizo doesn't get any more, you might want to check them out. (If I've committed a board faux paus by naming a competitor, please let me know. And apologies to Paizo.)

Dear Paizo,
Please get more! That way we need not go elsewhere... one-stop shopping is better than fighter bonus feats!
I suspect that our distributor just temporarily ran out of stock and forgot to flip the appropriate flag in their database (the flag that tells our system whether or not to let you backorder it). We'll look into it next week.
This was an awesome adventure, back in the day (Thieves Fortress of Badabaskor, not so much...).
I still remember my DM telling us that we could hear the chating, 'Set, Set, Merchant of Death,
let the whole world feel your soul-killing breath!'

Vic, you rascal--you were as good as your word, and my order has now been placed--another sale for Paizo. Thank you!
