Yes! The only thing that slows my game down more than constantly looking things up in the books is pausing while maps are drawn. Count me in.

Vic,
I'm holding off on making Chronicle pre-orders till the new susbsription options are announced.
But would these Item Cards be considered part of the Chronicles? Or do you think they'll always be something you have to order independent of your subscription?

If I recall correctly, last time they mentioned what was to be in the Chronicles Sub, it was only the stuff that is included in the Chronicles page (so, map folio of each AP, Setting, Gaz, Guides, Monster Revisited and other things like that that have "PF Chronicles" in their name and for which there will be PDFs available. Since there wont be any discount, only the PDFs make any difference between Sub and no sub.
For item cards, like all other Gamemastery things, you'll probably have to order separately.
Though, at some point, they also told us we would be able to package any other purchase with our monthly subs, to save on shipping.

Hi there
I have been playing the game mastery modules with my group at school (I run the supergeeky game club where d and d is the game du jour) and the kids love this game. Its funny to see them get excited over this NEW game that I have been playing since i was there age.
Anyway, the new "tech" (combat mat, item cards, etc) really have changed the way I play. I want to get the rise of the runelords everything so when i run the six parter after christmas, I will have all the impressive goodies. Is there a list of all the cards that are in this set?
thanks in advance

The complete card lists are usually put out after the cards arrive at the warehouse and the blog contests have all finished.
The cards just came in, so I would expect a list sometime next week (unless Jason is swamped, then it might be a little longer).

I will be running Rise of the Runelords for my group and I would like to see these item cards. I want to know, is there a new deck for each of the installments, or is one deck for the whole adventure path. In either case, do the items have EVERY item addressed in the books, major ones, or what?

Its certainly interesting though!
I'm becoming more interested in a pathfinder campaign than converting adventures over into Eberron... of course that means I'll have to convert Eberron concepts over into Pathfinder...
Still I am wondering how long it will take me to get the money to buy all of these goodies, but at least that means I have something to look forward to!

One deck covers the entire Rise of the Runelords campaign.

The deck contains a combination of most of the major new items introduced in the adventure path, several of the key items that your PCs might find, a lot of items from the Player's Guide (like harpy musk and dogslicers), and a handful of other items that have a Rise of the Runelords "feel" but aren't specific items that appear in the campaign (so a GM can expand on the campaign and'll have some good theme items to throw in as well).

Are the cards generic like the previous item cards "This sword has a nicked blue steel blade and a blue gem in the hilt" then a blank area fore notes?
Are there any samples anywhere? I'd prefer if these were almost like the magic item "certs" that the RPGA used and detalied the specific abilities of the item... and keyed to nearly every maic item in the adventure...in fact that would be awesome.

Or are they things that are just in the rise of the rune lords like a +1 Dogslicer, or a Sihedron medallion? Or much more generic like the previous item cards "This sword has a nicked blue steel blade and a saphier in the hilt"

ASEO, there's a list of what cards are included on the Paizo blog. Scroll down on the blog as well to see some imagaes of some of the specific cards.
It's my understanding that they're a mixture of what you said: for example, there's a dogslicer card, and you can add the +1 information yourself on the back.

I second Niteflier's question. Which ones are specific named items (possibly from future issues we haven't seen yet) and which ones are generic and therefore usable freely by a DM?

I would also really like a list that indicated which cards are for which item in the written pathfinder campaign. I want to use a few for other things but would not want to get a future issue of pathfinder and find that i used something that is coming up.

Are the game cards intended to be written on and wiped off, say for example with a dry or wet erase marker, so they can be written on again, or are they intended to written on once permanently.

You can write on them with pencil and erase them. Anything else would be a bit permanent.

Use card sleeves, Elmo. Then you can write them to your heart's content and not worry about them.

As a former baseball card collector, (who sold most of his collection to help pay rent for nearly a year) if you are looking at these items with resale value in mind you would not want to write in pencil or anything. Personally, I went to Staples and bought A LOT of those small yellow sticky note pads. This also allows when you run out of cards for magical "Nunchaku" (OK, I won't ever run out ot thse as I got one of these in ALL 3 of the free general GameMastery ones I got earlier this year and will get one more with the complete set I ordered with my GR stuff) to take the card back but your player can keep the small description with their character sheet. The personal card holder suggestion is a good one as well, but I suspect I will always have fewer cards than ways to let the players know what stuff they have.

Yeah I actually realized that I had a ton of collectible card binder sleeves from my magic the gathering/battletech days and are giving these to each of my players. :)
Then they can write on each of them as needed :)

I do not know if already posted somewhere else, but Vincent Dutrait posted an image of the items on his blog here:

I own the deck, they are truly awsome.
Also, he said in November in his blog that he was currently working on "Concept Guides" for Wizards, could not tell more about it, but was very excited... 4e should feature some of his works I assume.
Cheers

This may have been answered before but I didn't find it I was wondering what category the little candlestick represents. We have armor, weapons, staves/wands/rods, rings, potions, and misc. but I'm not sure what the candlestick means.

Stats for some of the items in this deck are sprinkled throughout the six Rise of the Runelords volumes. A few of them, including the dogslicers, also appear in the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide (you can download a free PDF of that one from the product listing).
