I picked up the Gen Con Special Edition Thursday at Gen Con but it has no license key in it and there's no email from the publisher as of this Monday. Thumbs down on this process. I bought and paid for the product and the key should be included in the jewel case.

I am happy to report that RPGXplorer emailed me within hours of my email and I'm all set up with a license key. Kudos to them for some great customer service!

Were there any left over GenCon2008 Special Editions of RPGXplorer?I didn't get a chance to get back around to the booth to purchase it.
I believe there was some excess stock after GenCon and copies maybe available from here shortly - I cannot confirm that at the moment however.
All the extra datasets from the Special Edition will be available from Paizo.com shortly, so if you don’t want to wait you can just buy the application here and download the datasets as soon as we get them finalized and uploaded to the Paizo guys.
Any idea when this will have the Pathfinder RPG rules? I downloaded the trial, and it seemed fairly intuitive to add custom stuff, but adding everything from the RPG would take so much time it would kind of render the point of buying it moot for me.
I know it's the Beta and not the final version of said rules, but there's a whole year of gaming between them. :) It's the only thing stopping me from snapping up the :10bux: cheaper, snazzy deluxe Gencon version right now.

Once the PFRPG version comes out this fall, we're hoping the RPGX community will do a similar job as they have done with other content.
I'm learning to use the program, but it seems to be real good.
The part that most concerns me is the 3.5 rules and most relevant books.
Anyone knows how I find these database?
Thanx
I have checked the trial. It is nice but not absolutely stable. AND it does not support Eberron Campaign Setting. Grrr!
They can't officially support it, as that info is closed content. Check their forums, as they are some people trying to enter that information into RPGXplorer.
Not yet, and as far as I can tell there has been no official say either, also they are not registered as a company using the compatible licence.
I love this program, much more then herolabs, but I went herolabs because of the lack of word from RPGXplorer.
How dissapointing. I purchased this last year at GenCon from the Paizo booth in anticipation of getting the Pathfinder ruleset once it was finialized. *sigh* I'll guess I'll have to get a copy of HeroLabs.

Same sentiments here... the complexity of the program was just too much for me... and I use LINUX! ;)
But I was also disappointed that we haven't seen the Pathfinder Ruleset. Sigh....

They might have. From what I gleaned from their Web forums in the past, the primary person working on development had a number of personal issues keeping him from updating the software in any sort of timely fashion, and was causing financial issues on top of everything else.
One might hope he'll pass it off to some other interested developers with more time on their hands. It was supposed to be a good product.
