Kill Doctor Lucky... and His Little Dog, Too! Expansion
Paizo Publishing, LLC
For over ten years, you’ve tried to kill that simpering old fool, Doctor J. Robert Lucky. Sometimes you succeed, but most of the time you don’t find the right weapon, or you find yourself lost inside the old man’s mansion, or you notice someone watching and postpone your attempt.
And if that weren’t bad enough, Doctor Lucky bought a dog. His name is Shamrock, and he’s just as lucky as his master. He also has an annoying habit of making you feel fond of him. And that makes you mad—mad enough to Kill Doctor Lucky… and His Little Dog, Too.
Contents:
- Dog token
- Rulebook with three game variants using the dog pawn
Requires Titanic Games’ Kill Doctor Lucky to play.
Usually ships from our warehouse

I was just wondering if there was any information about when this expansion will be coming out. The site still says July 2007 and that's now.....can I hope it will be soon?

We too hope it will be soon. As it's being manufactured in China, and has to cross an ocean and then clear Customs, we don't have an exact delivery date yet, though.

Not precisely. We got our production samples a week or so ago, so they're on the way...

Seconded as well. I think we've been quite patient, but it's nearly been a month overdue now, and I'd like to get the order I placed.

Well, I can tell you that the delay was caused by our print broker sending samples out to a test agency to confirm that the manufacturer was using non-lead paint. Everything checked out, of course, but it added a few weeks to the process. I'll see if we have an updated delivery date for the main shipment.

It's supposed to reach Seattle on September 6th.

I ran Demos of this at Gen Con, using the good doctors doggie. It adds a very cool twist to the game.

:o
I'll quit complaining, then. Lead paint is sort of bad. :) Still, I'm looking forward to getting it. (I can't find my old Cheapass copy of the game, so it would be good to get this one!)

I had put in an order for this back in March or April through Thoughthammer.com along with a copy of the deluxe game. So make sure that you send at least a couple of copies to Thoughthammer right away so I can get the game to play!!!!
Thanks!

I just paid the final bill to the printing company so it can ship from Los Angeles up here. Hopefully, we will receive this much anticipated expansion soon!

Urk. Y'know, it's not good when the order shifts from "Expected in" to "Not currently available".
Any more word? Please?

I second that. I have a large order at Thoughthammer that has been pending for over 2 months waiting for this expansion to come in. If it is now unavailable, I would like to know a.s.a.p. so I can have my order shipped now and order this another day...if it ever comes in.

Grr. That's a mistake, which I will fix on Monday. Thanks for pointing it out.
It really should be arriving in our warehouse any day now....

I just noticed that this no longer says "coming soon." Did this finally arrive? Will you ship some copies to Thoughthammer a.s.a.p. so I can keep my sanity? Thanks!!

It has indeed finally arrived, in all of its unleaded glory!
We'll get distributor copies out this week; I'd expect retailers (including Thoughthammer) will have them around the 26th.

Is this compatible with Dr. Lucky from Cheap Ass and doe sit give rules for using the ambivelance pack or the castle cragidoch (there probably isn't much of a difference)

I noticed that Thoughthammer still lists this as a pre-order....apparently they did not receive copies yet. The last post noted they would have them around 9/26...and it's already October. Is there an update on when items will be shipped to distributors?

They shipped out a while ago. I just check the Alliance database (Alliance is the biggest distributor) and it is available for order in all their warehouses. So as far as I can tell, Thoughthammer can buy this anytime they want.

Two of the three variants make use of spite tokens, which were presented as optional rules in the KDL Director's Cut edition from Cheapass, but weren't in the earliest editions. The other variant will work with any edition.
All three variants should work fine with the other boards.
