Any chance we can see some of the cards?
I assume the artwork for the cards is the same as the images on the box, like with the Deck of Illusions, but what do the cards actually look like?

They look rather like Tarot cards, long/tall as opposed to the shorter Hoyle-type card decks. Pretty good quality cardstock and the imagery is nice, matching up nicely to the standard deck of many things you see in the SRD/DMG.

If you're just curious what sorts of things you'd see on the cards, here's a PDF from Wizards from a while back that is a different illustration of it. But I have this deck, it's pretty darn nice.

I agree, both this and the deck of illusions make wonderful props.

If Paizo redoes the Harrow Deck and they don't go to the lengths of the Ravenloft Tarroka Deck, they should go this route. *hint hint*

See Pathfinder Adventure Path #12 for our "Harrow Deck of Many Things."

Does this work with Pathfinder? Or is the Pathfinder Deck of many things different then the D20 deck? I am talking about the Magic item.

This deck will work with the Pathfinder RPG as well as any 3.5 product will... that is to say, you may have to tweak a couple of mechanics, but it'll be mostly fine out of the box.

Our own take on the Deck of Many Things will be revealed in Pathfinder Chronicles: Classic Treasures Revisited, due in April.

Wait, so the Deck in Treasures Revisited is gonna be different from the original deck?

I should be more clear... the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook already contains a Deck of Many Things (p.544) which is fundamentally similar to the 3.5 version. Classic Treasures Revisited will explain how that item fits into the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting; it will also offer some additional twists, such as variant decks, variant cards, and more.

Wow thanks Vic! Would Paizo ever do anything thing close to this based the one That will be in Pathfinder Chronicles? Again thanks Vic.

You mean an actual card deck? We love that Green Ronin did it, and we've sold a ton of 'em here on paizo.com... but I don't think either of us would benefit from having competing decks. So probably not while they still have it in print.

How many cards are in the complete deck? It is unclear looking at this. There are 24 cards in a Deck Pack, but they also sell in Display sets. Are there only 24 cards, or are there more?

(Pathfinder Campaign Setting Charter Superscriber)

Finally looked closer at the art... Sold!

Okay. Cool. I plan on getting Treasures Revisited anyway (I'm gonna collect the entire Revisited/Redeemed line period). Variant decks will be awesome. Though it screwed with your character royally I kinda liked the Character Rebuild variant that WotC put out as a web enhancement for the PHBII, even if it was just to have something different.

I'd like to see a Paizo version of the Tarot Deck of Many Things, like was printed in Dragon #77. If ever I decide to toss a deck in a campaign, it will be one of these. :-)

The deck contains all 24 cards. The display is just a set of 12 decks—it's mainly meant for retailers to purchase and put on their counters, but since our distributor offers it to us, we offer it to you.
