I really liked it. I picked it up when Expeditious Retreat Press had a big sale and I must admit would use it as core for my games. It covers both the real world silk road, plus some other types of travel like underground caravans and swamp caravans. This means you can condense all the climate splat books into one. There is also a huge section for every trade good you could possibly think of. If you like the more realistic, low fantasy approach to gaming or liked their other works I would highly recommend it. The only thing it does not do is cover water trade and ships, for that I usually have to consult skull and bones from green ronin.
I missed this one until now. Anybody out there use it? Opinions?
I have heard nothing but good things about it. I use Magical Medieval Society and the world building guide extensively so I imagine this would be just as high quality.

Do a review then! :-)
This book sounds great, I may have to pick this up.
I highly recommend this as well, as long you have games strongly related to trade issues on a regular basis. Otherwise it may sit on your shelf a lot. Its a good read at the very least.
