"Despite their old-fashioned appearance, each map offers a degree of customization by taking full advantage of pdf technology. A small control bar (which will not be printed) on each map allows you to turn the grid on and off, eliminate the room numbers, fill the walls, or hide doors and furniture. "

What are the software requirements for this. Will Acrobat reader do the job, or would I have to spring for full-functioned Acrobat?

IIRC, all the 0one PDFs just require Acrobat Reader.

Yes, the free Adobe Reader is all you need—but make sure you have the latest version. You'll be much happier.

I just recently purchased this and the level/map portion is blank. This makes it rather difficult given there are hundreds of rooms. Has anyone else experienced this?

You're the first to report this, and we've been selling it for months. Are you using the latest version of your PDF reader?

I just updated to Adobe Acrobat Reader 9. Unfortunately, there is still nothing within the level/map portion as there is the Castle. The floor plans are great but there is no key what rooms are what.

I think I'm confused about what you're reporting. Can you be more specific?

And have you checked out the "Rule the Dungeon" feature. It can produce the effects you seem to be describing.

Being one of the first product of the Blueprints line, this one has no keys for identify rooms or places. Numbers are provided for customization purposes.

The blueprints line has evolved since 2005 (the publishing year of The Citadel) and now every map comes with a detailed key, also we've switched from checkboxes to the Rule the Dungeon Feature and added hexagonal grid, listening to the requests of our customers.

Qadira (RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16)

Ah, that's good to know.

I've purchased the Citadel and the Catacombs, and both of those were fill-in-your-own-keys, much like the old Basic Dungeons & Dragons module B1. That didn't suit my needs at the time, so I'd never bought another.

You're saying that other products in the line have more information?

Yes, from "Cavern of Chaos" on (Blu27) we've added the "Rule the Dungeon" feature which gives you more control over the product, allowing you to toggle grids, doors, furniture etc.

As for the information, almost all products (well, except The Citadel and few others) have numbers and a key for numbers. Some products have a very small description of the locations also.
