Could some kind gamer inform me what to expect in this book? It'd be much appreciated.
Mainly does this class have any new base classes?
Yes, the book includes some new base classes, including the Eldritch Weaver, Evangelist, Scout, Spellmaster, Thanemage and Warpriest. There's also a new attribute (Luck), new Skill uses, Spells/threads for the Eldritch Weaver mainly, a Mass combat system (same base as Malhavoc's Cry Havoc), Psychic rules...
It's basically a toolbox shock-full of optional stuff for players to use or not in your campaign, in a pick'n plug manner. Taken that way, it's quite good.
Thanks. I am in a torn situation . . .I feel if I buy all this GREEN RONIN STUFF I am committing myself to playing 3.5 for some time . . . not sure if this is what I want to do or not.
My Green Ronin order came in today and I am very pleased with what I got. The Advanced Player's Handbook for $5 is well worth it. You may even find some ideas that you could carry over to 4e.
Could you elaborate? Is this material taken from The Psychic's Handbook (Green Ronin)? Does it make that book unnecessary or do the compliment one another?
I don't have the Psychic's Handbook, but the section about the Psychic in this book mentions that the material is "derived from" the Psychic's Handbook. Whatever the case, the Psychic class is included, along with all the psychic skills and feats one would need.

Thanks for the reply. I ordered The Psychic's Handbook anyway, though. I guess I can always give it to a friend or something if it's redundant.
I am very happy with this product on many levels. The new classes are extremely playable and unique, not just rehashes of existing classes.
The luck and alignment attributes are optional but useable.
Overall well worth the cost.

I agree 100%. I have been fiddling with the race section to create some great races that give my characters points to spend on top of a base level race so that not all dwarves have the same racial abilities and so on . . .very cool options that have opened up player options and my own thoughts.
Also, a slightly tweaked version of the spellmaster is set to take over the role of sorcerer in my homebrew. I am very happy with this and with the other Green Ronin products I nabbed.
Does anyone know whether this, and all of the Green Ronin sale books, are 3.0 or 3.5? I don't know much about Green Ronin, so any info would be great. Thanks!

This is 3.5. Some of GR's books are 3.0, but I don't believe any of the ones in this sale are. Most of their 3.0 books have been out of print for so long that finding them in dead tree version is pretty difficult.
