Hey, Paizo, you didn't mention that ten monsters out of this thing made it into Monte Cook's Year's Best d20 back in '04 when it was originally published. It beat out the excellent Tome of Horrors II (8 monsters) for inclusion of most creatures in that volume. I've never seen a copy of this on the shelf anywhere; I'm pretty excited to have this available to me. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Trippy... this thing came out in 2003.
I have this and it is a cool book.
The explanation is here. Just scroll down to where it says "discount monsters".

Ok... I read the blog post.
This is not a new book. I bet it's coming from a distributor or Inner Circle themselves. (I know my old game shop had several of these when they closed down, I could have picked them up for $2 each but I didn't see the need/storage for having multiple copies...
It's a great buy at $10.

I ordered it the minute I noticed it and had read about the book. That means that I stand a good chance of getting it. Yay!

cool thing is, its only another $15 to get the whole rest of the world.
I bought this a few years ago after reading the monsters in Monte Cook's Years Best d20. This is a great book, full of unconventional "plot monsters" and some very striking full colour art. Highly recommended and at this price, it's a complete steal!
AFTER I preordered this, I made a LONG pilgrimage to the best game store in the area and flipped through a copy. I admit, I was tempted to buy a copy there and cancel my pre-order, but my willpower held. Still very much looking forward to this.
Just curious; what state are you in? I'm in Illinois and mine's not here yet. (I "preordered" it and it shipped on Friday)
Oregon. I usually get my Paizo orders in a day via UPS Ground.
So I guess I'll see mine mid-late next week, then. I apparently go for less expensive shipping than you do.
Hmm. I wonder if Paizo's going to start using critters out of this in APs now? The Necromancer & Green Ronin stuff is cool and all, but I'll certainly not object if they branch out into Inner Circle, Malhavoc, etc.
I just wanted to mention about the lack of 3.5 psionic support. When the book was released, it was the first monster book for 3.5 aside from the Monster Manual. There was no 3.5 psionics at the time.
However, you can download a PDF that does have the 3.5 psionic rules. We are in the midst of launching a new website, but for now you can download the web support here: http://innercircle.us.com/websupport.html
I'll update the link when the new site goes live.
