Hi Sara Marie just wanted to say welcome to the customer service team! You'll see me and some of the other regular posters trying to help triage some of the 'regular' issues before you guys get to them (or get in) so I just wanted to introduce myself!

PS if I missed a welcome thread somewhere feel free to move/delete

I too wanted to welcome you to Paizo. I will do my best to not drive you crazy(er).

Is Sara a third member of the CS Team or is she replacing someone ?
Come to think of it haven't seen Alison post for a while.

Welcome aboard Sara

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Allow me to also welcome you Sara.

Mmmm......Customer Service brainnnnnssss.

Paizo Employee (Customer Carebear)

Thanks! Cosmo is showing me around the systems so I can fix things for you guys. (If your curious as to what it looks like, think of a Rube Goldberg machine).

As for the person I am replacing... if I understand the office rumors correctly, goblins have kidnapped her. I'm sure we'll be forming a rescue party sometime in the near future, but no doubt, her time spent away will have molded her into something far too great for mere customer service.

...They stuck Alison in some kind of editor crysalis-cocoon?

Tessius wrote:

No they sent her to goblin graduate school to give her a fancy new degree in horse murdering and arson.

ahhh

To end this off-topic tangent, Alison is going to school to learn how to make computer games. When she moved up here to Seattle, that was always her goal and her job at Paizo was to make enough money to make that a reality. So we always knew that her time in customer service had a clock on it. She is helping out every few days on a part-time basis.

Or goblins kidnapped her.

Spoiler:
For some reason I read this as being said in the voice of Salacious B Crumb (The Kowakian monkey-lizard in Jabba's palace)

Enough about goblins.

Congratulations and welcome, Sara Marie!

How have your first few days been? Cosmo's being nice and gentlemanly, I hope.

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

Sara Marie, Ni Hao! :)

Welcome!

Remember, whatever Cosmo tells you, sacrificing an eye is not a requirement of the job.

Looks like Cosmo is about to let me start playing with the phones.

'scuse me, folks; I have zombie to destroy.

Actually I think his eye is still running around the office somewhere. It is probably responsible for all the glitches in the systems and all the changed/missing orders.

Now come to think of it I think he has it trained to do this for job security and to make himself look good =)

No.

His empty eye socket doesn't look good at all.

Is this the "welcome the new customer slave" Thread?

Welcome, Sara Marie!

And, might I say, you have a really nice-looking avatar!

Great! Be sure to keep whatever incriminating evidence you have to make her create some Pathfinder computer game for you!

This can only be settled with a pie fight.

So the pie comes with an orc, then?

No, the drow poisoned the cream pies.

1. Pies are good.

2. Destroying pies via fighting is bad.
3. Please save the pies!

Will somebody think of the pies!? The pies!

No! That would make it too quick. Regular pie.

Arena fighting is never be so fun when a fight takes 100 hours.

Incidentally, my favourite form of execution is gently flogging to death with scented shoelaces.

You say "Insane Asylum" I say "Home Sweet Home".

And your last statement seems to imply you do not consider me to be part of the crazies. Some time in the near future I will be dissuading you from that point of view.

One of these days someone needs to interview Cosmo on a podcast. Enough with James and Eric. The real heroes in Paizo are the customer services reps.

Welcome aboard Sara.

And on that note, has anyone ever played the Ghostbusters RPG? A cream pie can be a FEARSOME weapon!

Paizo Employee (Production Assistant)

SaraMarie has, thus far, proved herself to be as friendly, loyal, and psychologically unsound as the rest of the Paizo crew, so don't count her out of the crazies just yet.

Well, I just spoke to her in person, so Cozmo is letting her play with the phones now.

Or I must have called at lunch time...
