Has there been any shipping trouble with this particular issue? It says it shipped on the 11th. For the past 3 issues (and my Item Cards), they arrived about two days after the ship date. I wouldn't be too worried, except that I'm in the process of moving and want to know how long I should continue to check the mail at my old address (as periodicals subscriptions aren't forwarded).

I suspect that a big part of the trouble is the fact that Christmas and New Year's cropped up in the middle of the shipping cycle; both tend to wreak havoc on shipping times and the mail system. Also: Paizo is closed until Wednesday... and I can't really track packages and shipments in the system. Hopefully someone from Paizo who can might be able to check up on your shipment before then... but you might need to wait until Wednesday to get an answer (and event then, the emails will be backed up by five days...).

I'd say keep checking the mail at the old address till you hear from our customer service, or until the second week of January, though. Hopefully it'll show up well before then, though!

I haven't gotten mine either (also shipped on the 11th). Funny thing is that my GR sale shipment arrived almost a week ago and it shipped on the 19th.

This isn't exactly related to Paizo, but I had a similar situation when dvdexpress was still a going concern. Before I moved out on my own I had a fair amount of disposable income and a DVD collection to prove it.

One December I received two or three discs that shipped after another purchase arrive a week before the one that shipped earlier.

I guess I'm just trying to say that it does happen, hopefully it will get sorted out on its own within the next few days.

also, since it isn't send magazine method, and is instead sent as a package, is this a valid concern?

I apologize for not having responded previously. To be honest, I was sure that I had written a response to your post last week when I first saw it. Either the Messageboard Bug ate it, or it's another symptom of the fact that I am going slowly and inexorably crazy. Let's hope it was just the bug.

As for you Pathfinder, I checked and we did send your Pathfinder to your previous address. If you have put a forwarding address in with the post office, then your package most likely is currently traversing the labyrinthine USPS Mail Forwarding (morass)System. If you have not filed a forwarding order with your local post office, then the package will most likely be returned to us.

Either way, the package has been delayed. It is in the hands of the USPS right now and we do not have the ability to track it. Please give it a couple more weeks to arrive, and if you still have yet to see it by that time, let me know and I will get replacements put in with your next subscription shipment.

thanks,
cos

Hey Cosmo,

It probably should have shown up by now, however it may still show up at any time.

I'll go ahead and put a replacement Pathfinder #4 in with your Pathfinder #5 when it ships. If your PF#4 does show up before your PF#5 ships (which should be sometime later this week or early next), please let me know and I will cancel the replacement.

Thanks,
cos

Hey Cos, mine's not here yet either. But mine normally take a long time to get here (I live in Wisconsin), so maybe it's still on the way. In addition, I've not been told that Pathfinder 5 is shipping; was that a glitch, or do you guys send the e-mails in batches? Thanks a lot for your help.

Has anyone in Europe received Pathfinder #4 yet? I'm still waiting in Sweden.

I'm still waiting for it, i live in Belgium

I recieved it on Monday, with me living in Austria. Christmas-shipping made it go slower than usual, but bearable.

I live in England and recieved mine nearly a week ago if memory serves me correctly. It was a couple of days before new year.

agreed. in fact shipping to the UK takes about 9 days all told which is spanking!!!

Pathfinders 1-3 came to my bit of the UK in about 9 days, but #4 still hasn't arrived yet almost a month after shipping...

yeah i had one of them too..... right up to the point i discovered it was hidden under a pile of Dragon mags IIRC.

Hopefully Cos will see that yours hasn't turned up.

hmm UK roleplayers.... maybe i should start a thread in gen discussion about players locations....

Well, it said 9 - 36 days, so I was figuring that with Christmas 'n' all it was just going to be towards the latter end.

I'll probably go home tonight & find it on the mat.

Hi, I'm in the "UK, not showed up" camp.

Interestingly, order no.852012 Shipped Dec 11, 2007 (placed Dec 3, 2007) and order no.860597 Shipped Dec 21, 2007 (placed Dec 20, 2007) arrived Thursday last week (though it incured a Royal Mail charge of £13 all in which meant I only got it yesterday....).

So 16 days difference....should I be worried?

Russ,

I will put a replacement Pathfinder #4 in with your next subscription shipment.

To our European subscribers,

Unfortunately, it is still too early to give up on your Pathfinder #4. Please give them a couple more weeks to reach you. If you get notification that Pathfinder #6 is getting ready to ship and you still haven't seen #4, let me know at that point and I will get a replacement put in with that shipment.

Thanks,
cos

Heh... In a manner of speaking, Friday is going to be a "Cos Day". As in a personal day that I'm taking off from work. :)

I wish I could say that I'm taking it off to start the three-day party, but in fact I'm taking it off to go do battle with the DMV and renew my driver's license. I expect this to be an all-day affair.

Sorry to bring another one up but my Pathfinder 4 (order# 853174) hasn't arrived yet either but I wanted to bring it to your attention just in case. I will also wait patiently to see if it arrives before #6 ships.

Have fun at the DMV.

Hello,

I am a Canadian subscriber and I have yet to receive Pathfinder #4. I received notice on Dec 5 that it was expected to ship by Dec 11. I'm wondering if Christmas/New Years could have caused this delay or if you should send a replacement with #5 when it ships. Normally I receive my issue around the end of the month, so it is about 2 weeks late. Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Pathfinder #4 has been delayed in most parts due to the holiday mail crunch. We are asking that Canadian subscribers wait a bit longer than normal, and to let us know if it still hasn't arrived by the time Pathfinder #5 rolls in.

Cosmo! Cosmo! COSMO! It came! It came in the mail! It's my Pathfinder 4! It came today! Don't send a replacement. :)

Thanks Cos,

Filled out the mail forwarding forms, but I know how ridiculously unreliable the USPS can be some times when it comes to forwarding things. I figure if I see Pathfinder 5 before I see 4, I'll start to get worried.

Well, Pathfinder 5 showed up this morning. Nary a sign of Pathfinder 4 at either address.

Hi Cosmo

Just got the email saying Pathfinder 6 is ready to ship (together with 5).

Hooray!

Unfortunately 4 still hasn't arrived.

Boo!

Can you add in a copy of 4 to the shipment please?

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Yep, me too. PF #5 arrived last week but still no sign of #4.

I am also missing Pathfinder #4 . Having received 2-3 much quicker I assume you guys have the right address. Having received notice for #6 I am a little worried. My order number is 853011 .

Hi there Cos,

first time posting on this so here goes. I'm in the UK and still awaiting my Pathfinder #4 (Order No. #852861) and let it wait a while what with Christmas and New Year but thought I'd check out some message boards when I receive email about #6 (order no. #881298) being dispatched.

If you could put in #4 with my #6 that'd be great!

Thanks,

Magikan

Same here. If you could place a replacement copy for #4 with my #6 I would appreciate it.

Somewhere in the middle of the ocean, a ship has gone missing without trace (the old sea-dog in the bar tells you).

It contains items of great worth - vital documents that were in the process of being delivered to the old country. Many hours of entertainment there were in those documents, aye.

(He drains his mug of ale and chomps on his pipe.)

Why I dare say you could keep any treasure you might find on the way, were those papers to be delivered to their rightful owners.

Well, (the old man says) are you heroes? Or will you just wait for Cosmo to send fresh copies from the New Kingdoms?

(He fixes you with a steely glare.)
