I'm pretty darn certain those boxes weren't just sitting around waiting to go out while nothing else was. They were constantly packing and shipping boxes for a solid week and a half to two weeks. The faster shippers were just a bit lower on the queue because the hope was for everyone who preordered to get theirs on the 13th or as close to as possible.
And that's the crux.
It was not randomly determined: Those who paid for faster shipment were handled last. Not by sheer coincidence, but because they paid for faster shipment. And that is the issue.
They were not informed that contrary to normal proceedings, they would hold up shipments with faster delivery. The OP, and I'd wager others, too, paid extra to get that stuff sooner, believing that just like any other time, a faster shipment option would not have a negative impact on the shipping date.

That is certainly a different issue. I am saying, all things being equal e.g. same subscriptions, same choice of when to ship (hold for everything or ship as soon as possible, then if the only difference between two customers is one payed for two-day shipping and one paid for the lowest cost shipping, then they should be shipped out at approximately the same time, and the two-day shipping should get there first. Paizo staff has repeatedly said they delayed shipping out people with two-day shipping (all three of them), not because they had other things they were waiting on, but solely on the fact they wanted everyone to be equal when it came down to delivery date.
Except that was PHYSICALLY impossible to do. There were simply too mnay orders to get out. If they had...say 10K orders to go out, they relied on USPS to tell them ho wlong and staggered.

Yesterday. It could have arrived Thursday or Friday, but it was held up at customs and I had to go there to bail it out (and pay €6,15 extra).
So Monday morning, at 7:30, just before work, I went there and got it (luckily, work is only a couple of minutes away from DHL and Customs).
And when I got home, I found my other shipment (with PF24).
If'n it makes y'all feel any better, I'm still waiting for my pre-order to ship.
Thanks for trying to cheer us up, but personally, it doesn't make me feel better. If anything, it makes me feel slightly worse, because you still have to wait.
You should contact customer service, I think it fell between the cracks (everything was supposed to have been shipped a week or so ago).

I seriously doubt they HAD to delay shipping those three orders because they just couldn't find enough man-hours to ship those three. Yes, it may have been impossible to ship everybody out in the same day (maybe temporary workers could be hired from a temp agency?). That doesn't mean that the most expensive shipping orders HAVE to be delayed. They could be shipped as appropriate, treating them like everyone else. Nobody is suggesting delay due to the bulk going out is an issue. What people are suggesting is the active delaying of the most expensive orders above and beyond the normal delay for a huge shipment like this is perhaps a problem.

Yeah... but not in my Customer Service Forums. There are better places for the amusing threads, and I don't really find this all that amusing.
As far as I'm concerned, this topic has been questioned and answered. Please feel free to start a new Customer Service thread with any new questions you may have, but I think this one has run it's course.
