I would like to delete the account I have currently, and create a new one (I can see no way to change my user name).
You can't change your user name after you've posted a number of times with it, but you can set up a new messageboard alias to post under. Just head to [url="/paizo/account"]your account page and click on "Create new messageboard alias" towards the bottom right.
Ok, but what if I just don't want the account any more? Right now there exists an account with all my personal info, including my address, etc.
What if i don't want it anymore? As a customer, do I not have the right to request that it be deleted from your database?
I no longer want this account. I want the personal info it includes deleted, like all of my purchases, my address, my old subscriptions, etc.

not an official answer, my guess would be that they can most likely inactivate the account, but not fully delete it for legal purposes (same reason you're supposed to keep tax paperwork for a certain number of years , they may use the order history part of the account to populate the sales tax figures or something.) This is just a guess though

Cpt_kirstov, as usual has the right of it. We need to maintain transactional data, and we also have a policy of keeping all messageboard posts. In short, it's not possible to "delete" an account without breaking things. However, I have made it so that nobody can log in to the account.
