You only got the automated e-mail in December if a Green Ronin sale product was cancelled automatically by a particular report. If your item was cancelled by customer service, you didn't get the e-mail, but you'll still get the discount e-mail, which will go out later this month.

I received the email with the discount code today. However, I had no problems with the GR sale. The cancellation of my order was because Cos was kind enough to combine two impulse purchases to save shipping.
Is it still ethical to use the code? (Not sure what I would order yet, just wondering.)

I'm embarrassed to admit that I must have deleted the automated email with the code. Can this be resent to me? I was waiting to place my order until I saw if I was receiving a free copy of U2. Since my Pathfinder 6 came today (and alas, no u2) I am ready to place my order.
I cannot speak to the ethics of it (although it speaks highly of you that you asked), but if you got the email then you are eligible to use it. I leave the decision of whether or not you should to you. ;)
