Cranky Smurf cuffed Impaley upside the head.
"I hate violence," he exclaimed, and then
proceeded to break the polearm into tiny
toothpicks, and made little toothpick smurf toys
in an attempt to console Brainy Smurf's
little brother, Smarty Pants Big Mouth Smurf,
who was traumatised by the frothy impalement
of his longwinded big brother on the
demented Impaley Smurf's flailberd. "Who's going to
help me stir the sauce?" asked Chef
Emeril Lagasse, adding pieces of Brainy Smurf's
brain, which truly was huge, for a
zombie-inspired culinary delight: cerveaux au vin, with
Jerry Mathers as the Beaver. It was
a delicacy, according to Martha Stewart, who
always cherished it and the fond memories
of beating her hired help.....at canasta.
Then, who came around the corner but
a troupe of formorian giant bards, cleverly
or not, were disguised as cheerleaders, and
waving ginormous pom-poms while turning cartweels and
exposing....well, I'll leave that to your
psychologist to get to the bottom of.
The formorians were fans of Smurf brain
, the band and the meal from Denny's.
But Emeril was seasoning it with all
spice, Old Spice, Brut for Men, Polo,
and aqua velva for that extra spice.
This caused the smurfy treats to flame
in otherworldly colours, piquing the interest of several
Avatars of Nyarlathotep from the AoN Convention
, including the be-ribboned 'Best Avatar' winner, who
immediately swore off snorting powdered bone marrow
when he realized that the fomorian bards
had laced them with pixie sticks. The
REAL Slim Shady Smurf, who was fighting
his caffeine habit at the Betty Ford
Clinic For The Chronically Short, was unimpressed;
he and Ozzy Smurf once snorted TNT
In the midst of all this hullabaloo
Impaley Smurf dipped his hat into brainy
smurf's lifeblood, thus becoming the first redcap.
This macabre episode became known as the
Changing Of The Hats, and is commemorated
each year on the untitled thread. The
posters on that thread are overly fascinated
with awesome, if inane, message board games,
and pie. Especially homemade pie that's good
so you need an Orc to guard
it in a locked 10x10' room without
