She's dead, man - get over it! Stop living in the past!

Uhh.....Bride of Frankenstein? It's a viable 'trope. Plus, they got wish-driven magic machines in Eberron...

Woah....back to bargaining in the grief process.
I gotta talk to my changeling grief counselor again.

Any stipulations other than the fact that she's a half-orc?

I was just joking...

She has a big axe and wears a chain shirt.

I wasn't.
She should have all of her tusks, braided pits, and zero body fat, with ripped ab's. Everything else is just icing.

Yeah, she's an Eberron half-orc so she's slightly hippy and rastafarian.

But not "hippie chick drives a new bug with the flower vase."
This chick can split kindling one-handed.
With an icecream scoop.

Militant hippy.

Mmm... naked half-orc... I don't know if that could get censored due morals or plain common sense... :D

She isn't naked, she's a warrior type - that was just Rod getting over-excited. And her name is Drim.

She's kinda a halforc Scarlett Johannsen.

Allowed! Allowed! Someone please take on this commission! Yay!

meh; I can draw; I don't wanna put nobody out or nuthin.

Is there a list of un-finished commissions? I would like to do a couple but I can't figure what is taken, finished already, or waiting for someone to pick it up. I have some time this weekend to draw so I wouldn't mind trying a couple.

Check out the end of Hugo's first post, I think that list is still untouched as far as anyone doing it.

What is he? Class-wise. Is there any other equipment I should know about or is he pretty bare-bones about gear? What type of clothes and is the hood part of a cloak, robe or shirt?

He's a druid, sorry I didn't mention that before. The hood is part of a cloak. He doesn't really have anything else.

Hey Cleaver, Here you go! Grael the blind.

I made the screech owl slightly bigger than the usual size but the signature ears of it is still in place. Hope you like it!

There is my request:

Spoiler:
The Butterfrog suggested I tender my commission...

My character’s name is Modus Sharn, he is a half Garundi, half Varisian human urban ranger native to Korvosa. He is 26 years old, 5 ft. 11 in. tall, and weighs 210 lbs.

His stats are: Str 15, Dex 14, Con 13, Int 13, Wis 14, Cha 11.

Modus is tall, broad shouldered, and slim hipped. His skin is a dark mocha color and his eyes are a deep brown-black. His hair is curly and prematurely white. He wears it very closely cut. He has a narrow nose and high cheekbones; characteristic of his Garundi blood. He maintains a very thin mustache and short beard -- which has yet to turn white like the hair on his head. Modus is rarely without his bright emerald green headscarf, though he is seldom veiled. While working he wears a leather tunic and trousers of dark green. He is often wrapped in a thick robe of a similar green hue.

He is well armed. He is equally skilled fighting with a longsword and dagger or with his rante-style spiked chain. On his back he bears a mighty composite long bow. He wears a chainshirt under a padded leather surcoat and has a buckler strapped to his left forearm.

Despite his martial garb, the life-blood of an urban ranger is stealth and perception – moving through crowds, assessing dangers, and determining from whence danger will come before it comes. Assisting Modus is his pseudodragon companion, Corvis. Rescued from the lair of an evil crime boss where he was cruelly tortured, Corvis is a scrapper and a fighter.

It would probably just as much fun to see a picture of Modus & Corvis engaged in battle (spiked chain whirling and pseudodragon poised to sting), as it would be to see the two of them engaged in their usual activities: asking questions and hunting for information, with Corvis resting on Modus’s shoulder pretending not to be interested.

Modus is garbed in a style similar to a Tuareg tribesman of North Africa, one of the Blue Men; though the Garundi of Rahadoum dye their headscarves deep emerald green.

Thanks all,

It is on page two of this thread.

I'm attempting to come up with something for the above three. I make no promises however as the result may be too lame to inflict upon other people! So I'd suggest other artists also consider these commissions too if they have the time/feel the inclination. *scampers to the sketchpad*

That...is awesome. It's just the way I imagined him! Thanks!

Not a problem, bro. I was worried that he looked a bit too "old-manish" but I liked drawing him.

I had a simple idea for a sword a long time ago. Basic idea came from a Balisong Knife or Butterfly Knife,Straight single edge blade with the handles like a Balisong knife but with the pivot pins at the bottom of the blade. When it is closed it looks like a Two-Handed Short sword but when the handles are opened it becomes a Two-Handed Bastard sword.

Does anyone want to give this idea a try?

Here is a quicky version of this, I added the diamond part of the blade to help deflect blows in shortsword mode.

Hi,

Ylavrdyn, the female, 1/2-drow/ 1/2-Elf, fencer-type character, here.

I'm wondering if any of you lovely and talented artists (and non-artists) were interested in depicting me in an illustration?

My author-friend, Kyrinn, suggested I make a personal appeal.

Any takers? ;)

Hugo Solis wrote:

Thanks, it was harder than I thought due to the minimum requirements of the handle being wider than the blade in order to accommodate covering it. It makes for either a too wide handle or a too thin blade, but I tried to reach a happy medium.

My most recent chibi attempt ~ my wizard :) Quick and simple but fun :D

Oooh thanks for the link, I shall have to print that off and tuck it into one of my ever useful 'How to draw Manga' books. In fact I should find those and read tham again, especially the one on anatomy and the one on drawing couples (I find drawing people interacting with one anoher a huuuge pain)

EDIT :: Lorenzo for GingerAndy. I still feel quite guilty over killing him, but it's his own fault *nods*

A wizard! nice! The thing is that can't taking any until I clear the line... So, I have to hurry!

I'm uploading Farellon today, I have a free day and I'm shading this sweet-'n-sexy half-elf right now!

After I finish a few sketches for a personal project, my queue is thus:

- Tristan Lidu, alienist
- Variel, elven rogue
- The Sheddim
- Female half-orc

Patrick, I have a few questions on Halani: Do you whant her in a non-adventuring style? or ready for combat? Is she an aasimar or an elf (I think elf). Weapons in hand? boots, sandals or what do you like? Please email me as much details/background as possible as well as a little idea on how would you like her drawn, for she's kinda a model/rogue and those poses can be quite different.
