I would like to say that all of you here that are donig the artwork are tremendous. I just wish I had a scanner so I could help out. My area that I feel comfortable is still life objects and equipment. But, alas I haven't done any real work since HS that was back in 03-04. My hat is off to all of you fine artists

Thanks Woodraven, it's a shame you don't have a scanner as many people liked having weapons and other gear drawn in the past.

aye
weapons, flags, armro and different equipment has been asked for indeed

Storhoi WHitescar For Krakentoa

I must repeat

great Ulfen... a bit to knightly :P still he looks great

Ok well if anyone has a chance my character is my name sake.

Brother Thurgon

He's a half orc Cleric/Fighter (or would be in pathfinder)

He's not huge only 5'10" and about 180 pounds but he is strong.

His hair is black maybe with a light touch of grey a bit long but tied back, he has no beard but looks like he always has 5 o'clock shadow going. His eye color is also black. His orc features are very hard to spot, certainly anyone looking at him might mistake him as fully human but there are hints that he is not. For a half-orc he is a handsome devil (16 comeliness back when that was a stat).

He has a limp from a wound suffered long ago (left leg). He wears full plate and has a mithral broadsword that was made for him by dwarves but which he enchanted (I would think it would have runes on it along the blade in draconic). His shield is large and metal but even more interesting it is a sky veiw of an island citadel that changes as the shield is moved so you are looking at the island from the direction you are facing. (Game wise the shield shows real time what is happening so he can in fact look and see people moving about on it if you look close enough)

He favors black and red clothing but never goes without some gold in his out fit.

Another oddity is he helm has a blue feather in it, symbolizing his rank in a secret knightly order called the Wayte.

His is young only looking to be about 24 years old, but has lived over 80 years. Thus the slight grey in his hair.

Anyway that is BT best I can discribe him. I have been playing the old guy since 1st ed, started him in 1984 and have been playing him in a campainge since then. He has changed much along the way. And I have always thought it would be kind of neat to have a picture of him to put with his character sheet. So a hearty thanks to any who would give it a try.

Okay... I'm soon through with all of them characters.. ;) But here's yet another for wspatterson... Axel the quite normal monk?

Hehe... Well, Take care Y'all!

Not quite sure if this is what you're after, but I'd recommend checking out GIMP - it's an opensource "Image Manipulation Program," meaning it's free and strives to do just about what Photoshop does.

I'll echo what GentleGiant said - GIMP is great. I'd also recommend dropping the ducats on ArtRage if you're looking for a more natural media software without dropping the serious change on Corel Painter.

I’ve been gone for while, just got a new job and moved to Tacoma. But it’s about time I get back to drawing! So if anyone would like character drawn by me I’m currently open for request.

Getting a whole lot of nothing done right now. I'm in a horrible slump. So far, I've been working on:

- thumbnails and main cross design for Flynnster's tattoo
- half-finished sketch of Keegan Cawley, from Fake Healer's Hollow's Last Hope game
- sketch of Lin from Perdido Street Station

Oi there mateys!

As a special request, and deeply honored by that I might add, here's Jordan Fenix for Montalve...

Looks great Gworeth!!!

I was wondering if you could do my personal portrait.

Spoiler:

Sydnael Ardre, Half Elf Rogue.
Around 40 years old (that'd be the equivalent of, say, 25 human years?), Sydnael dresses as good as an adventurer can manage to. That is, wears a mid-length coat (1700-1800's style) that is light enough to be used in adventure and not elaborate, for he knows he might be in danger -and intricate designs or heavy clothing will just make things worse. The rest of his clothing is of a good taste, he would've been considered almost metrosexual if that word had been known in that era. He has dark brown hair that reaches below his shoulder blades, usually tied back in a half ponytail with some loose strands. He sports deep brown eyes, his distinguishing feature would be the scar on his right eyebrow (I imagine it like if he had an eyebrow piercing and someone snapped it off), besides the typical half-elf ears. He shaves as often as possible, his skin is a tanned compared to the typical too-white-Chelaxian, but an adventurer lives in the open.

Sydnael can usually be seen with a friendly expression on his face, to the more acute observer, however, is revealed a hint of malice; he might just screw you over if given the chance. As a rogue, he knows he's constantly in danger and yet does his best to appear as calm. He almost always manages to pull it off.

Should I also describe a pose, or does the attitude and general description prove enough?

Here's one for Karui Kage, a half-elf Shoanti cleric of Nethys

Sarisco

I hope you like it!

Just out of curiosity could anyone do a Sibeccai Ranger of Sarenrae? Physically he's a 6'7" 300 lbs humanoid jackal with black fur, orange tiger stripes and an orange ankh on his chest (all Sibeccai in this have an ankh somewhere on their body marking them as belonging to Sarenrae, an idea I had to adapt the race to Pathfinder from Arcana Evolved). He is a desert ranger/dervish with twin scimitars, in Legacy of Fire he is a native of Osirion who hired on as a mercenary to kill gnolls. If he survives House of the Beast he's taking that axe as a trophy, the Carrion King's axe, as his way to benefit from the All Gnolls Must Die! feat.

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32)

Here's a coloured version of Gworeth's art for Montalve's Jordan Fennix.

Hope you all like it. :)
