I dunno...the poodles aren't actually evil, they're neutral good, and pretty much the only other good guys here. Getting them shut down isn't technically a good thing.
And abusing the law in our favor to get power over all would be Lawful Evil. Maybe I should just go join the poodles...

Well, all the fiendish creatures are kinda...well, they don't have their own thread, so we can't go on a crusade...the Jacks have proven to be unharmed by my smiting, so they clearly aren't evil, the Poodles are insane, but they're pacifists, so it would be evil to attack them...dammit, there's nobody to smite!

And you are forgetting that from the Primordial Chaos sprang Order, so the spell will have little or no effect on us because it to was born from Chaos... just like the slaadi.
