GWAR's image isn't at all serious, and they seem to view themselves as heavy metal comedians. They put most of the other'shock rockers' to shame. Just leave it to a bunch of theatre and art majors to create the most tongue-in-cheek band in history...

Great ... they mispronounce most of the names, the Star Spawn were midgitified, the Shoggoth was punked out by a puny Stone to Flesh ... although 'Alice' Derleth was rather hawt ... jes don't cheese her off or you're a lawn ornament...

Then the Scooby Doo ending ... although I LOVE all the Easter Eggs in the two parts, nicely done.

What happened to your first post; the Lovecraft interview? (Definitely a fake, by the way--I noticed some inconsistencies in dialect, as well as some modern audio and visual filters. My job at the TV station is to edit footage to be broadcast, and I often have to modify and/or filter footage, so I come into contact with this stuff all the time.)
