Yeah, my armored caster was accused of losing too many caster levels.To be fair, Practiced Spellcaster is one of those feats that I really wish was open content, and if he had any traits he probably would of taken Magical Knack for one of them. Still, without either of those there's no way of getting a higher CL. Nice to have, but technically you don't have any way to get more.
Actually that's not entirely accurate. There is a Trait called Magical Knack that allows you to get a +2 Trait Bonus to Caster Level, as long as it doesn't exceed your HD (basically half of what Practiced Spellcaster did).
It's #6 in the Magical Traits section of the Trait's .pdf for anyone who's interested. The Traits .pdf can be found in your My Downloads section, up the top above your current downloads.

Like I said. If the character had any traits, that would be one of them. But David's fighter/evoker didn't have any, so it doesn't really matter for this character now does it?

Damn... I read that and somehow I totally did not see that you had written about Magical Knack. :/
And I even got a good night's sleep last night and all! Musta been something in the water at the kid's swimming lessons... 8OI apologise.
My oven must run really cold. Somehow every time I try a new recipe I end up having to more than double the amount of time it needs to cook. Someday I'll get to eat that dinner. :/Howdy! Whatcha eating? (I had a tiny ground pork patty & largish mostly-caesar salad)
I ate some Cheeto's Cheese and Bacon Balls and a Frozen Coke for Lunch (at least until about 2.30ish when I can grab a quick bite to eat at work while I do my paperwork).

Well, whenever it actually finishes cooking, I'll be eating asian style spareribs. It smells so tantalizingly good. I hope it tastes decent too.

Still sounds good. I need to learn how to cook more Asian food than just fried rice. :)
I think it would need to be electrified, sanctified, and hooked up to robotically-aimed shotguns with silver and holy water shells to have even a slight chance of keeping him out.Vampire Wars flashback.....Can't we put some chicken wire around this thread to keep this guy out?
