I find it amusing that my Planescape game was about to confront an actual [word redacted] in the old-skool Githyanki sense. Now it feels like I made the encounter to be topical. But of course the fiendish players are bypassing her, LOL.
Time for a convenient relocate. Assuming the players never knew she was down there, of course.
Yeah, but we were told she's in here. We just decided that we should just break the magic orb and get out of there before the whole fortress melts, hoping she goes down with it.

No, they sussed her out. They captured a group of guards and intimidated the leader, who is basically out to save his own skin at this point (they have gained control of the MacGuffin that keeps the asteroid they are on in breathable atmosphere, and the guards want out.)
Ah well that's unfortunate.

Meh. No battleplan survives contact with the enemy. These guys are canny players. I have to keep upping the lethality of encounters just to keep them entertained :P

EDIT: NINJA'ED!
Then have her come to them.

It's kinda complicated. It wouldn't work too well to just have her pop up to say 'hi!'
I think I am going to nap, and then straighten up a lil, maybe do some laundry, and then its off to the library for the boys schooling. Still need to hit the store for the stuffing mix.
It is nice though, the house is all quiet and cool, perfect for a nap. :D
The DM of my tabletop 4e game just posted on these forums that he is looking for a Pathfinder game. I'm not really looking for another group, and certainly not to GM, which it sounds like is what he needs, but it's curious to see a post from him.
So one of the main participants in the blademage debate just posted in the stats for them thread. This guy has repeatedly denied that he wants a full BAB d10 hit die and full spell progression, but that is exactly wht he voted for.

Exactly. The gate out of there's right at the end of the hall in front of us and the cleric's going to smash the orb in about ten or so seconds. Even in the gish popped out right now, we'd probably just run right past her, AoOs be damned. You can't exactly save versus "suddenly engulfed in sea of fire".

Everybody remembers where they was when the Great Gish Plague of Ought Nine hit? I was just prospectin, mindin my own bidness, when WOOSH a swarm of munchkins started postin all over da place like thair wuz no tamarra!
Yeah, my armored caster was accused of losing too many caster levels.
To be fair, Practiced Spellcaster is one of those feats that I really wish was open content, and if he had any traits he probably would of taken Magical Knack for one of them. Still, without either of those there's no way of getting a higher CL. Nice to have, but technically you don't have any way to get more.
Anyway, back to whatever the topic of this thread is.
