Hmmm - I'm about to drop almost half a paycheck for three new tires. The safety-minded part of me sees the value, but the 'gotta pay the bills' part of me is crying on the inside. Tears of acid, burning my innards.....yeah. And right before the shopping bliss of Black Friday.
Three new tires? Oooh, bad idea. You should always get even numbers of new tires. That way the tread wear is the same on each pair.
True - but I already got the first of the four last week when I picked up a hex screw in it. I couldn't afford the other three until this week, due to Veteran's day delaying my paycheck.
It's turning into an expensive month, and not in a fun way....ah well. ;)
Morning folks. Hope everyone's day has started off nicely. :D

These two most recent blogs have me thinking all about how awesome we are. And I mean, Monte-Cook-writing-an-adventure-about-Cloud-castles-and-giantish-intrigue awesome.
A chicken and James bond meet; Chicken says: "Whats your name?" Bond says "Bond, James Bond." He asks the chicken "And yours?" He says "Ken, Chick Ken."

Last night's dinner was Chick, Ken over spaghetti. I know it has an Italian name, but I got nuthin right now. But I got no desire for that now...think I'll go with Cinnamon Harvest...

Well, the John and Ken got together over a wonderful Italian dinner only to have John's ex-wife spy them from behind the bar as she drank straight from the tap for four hours. She had the drinks put on John's tab which resulted in a brawl. Oh wait, that was real life...
Good morning all. My day has started off ok, then went a little down. Mechanic called both brakelines pretty badly rusted gonna cost ~$300 to replace both rear breaklines.

Morning, Patrick!
Morning CH. Lovely day in the OTD forum, yes?
It is indeed.
I find it amusing that my Planescape game was about to confront an actual [word redacted] in the old-skool Githyanki sense. Now it feels like I made the encounter to be topical. But of course the fiendish players are bypassing her, LOL.

Time for a convenient relocate. Assuming the players never knew she was down there, of course.

Just to vex some, I just filled in every blank in a Mad Libs book with some variation of the word Gish.
A DAY AT THE PARK
Children ran through fields of GISH beneath the GISHY sky. Holding onto strings leading high up to GISHES that floated on the wind. A GISHY baby cried GISHFULLY for his GISH and a GISH GISH barked as he ran for a tossed GISH.

Yeah, but we were told she's in here. We just decided that we should just break the magic orb and get out of there before the whole fortress melts, hoping she goes down with it.

No, they sussed her out. They captured a group of guards and intimidated the leader, who is basically out to save his own skin at this point (they have gained control of the MacGuffin that keeps the asteroid they are on in breathable atmosphere, and the guards want out.)
