Seriously, guys, don't help women stalk me. Life is already "interesting" enough as it is.
I am way lost...who is stalking you?

I just got back from my interview. It went pretty good. Two of the interviewers were the same as for another job I interviewed for back in September. I guess they were impressed enought to at least give me another shot at an interview with them.
And even better, I stopped by my LGS, it's not friendly yet, and for being the 100th customer there since they opened I got a free book. And they were unpacking Draconomicon II. ** spoiler omitted **
Sweet.
Seven, count them, svn new dragons in there, plus new coatal, kobolds, and draks, and the draconians are back.

Gratz on the free book, it's always good to win something
Thanks all. Hey, off tangental topic: Anyone remember Thundarr the Barbarian? Remember his light-sabre ripoff Sunsword? Anyone know what I could use stat-wise to approximate it? Just wondering, hatching an evil DM scheme ATM ...
Should I be worried right now?
(Anyway, a Sunblade would probably be a decent approximation.)

I guess your dragon page is going to get longer.
Clearly by lots. Some of the new dragons are funky. Bronze Dragons now have a mechanic that they heal damage every time they enter water, as an example.

Back from school. Congrats to everyone who did well. Sorry to everyone who had stuff happen. Too tired to catch up. Also, like Dale Arden impersonation. Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Don't worry, I was just drawing somebody out. See your FB inbox for multi-person conversation.

Yeah, I'm just trying to unconfusicate Solnes, since she wasn't in on this morning's conversation and posts have been deleted.
Speaking of which, it's time to go check out a certain thread about right now...
Hey, could one of you guys take a look at the Ranger/Druid/Sorcerer-Good Idea or Bad Idea? thread and tell me if one of my avatars is still showing up in the recent posts? Viewing that thread is giving me heck, no matter what I try.
EDIT: Will delete on confirmation.
Bump.
Hey Ambrosia...was the temp off for you?
Nope. Just not sure how I feel about posting right now... checking my own temp, not the thread's.

Thanks. Did you hear anything back on your PFAP Open Call?
Didn't get selected. Josh decided no one got the feel for Absalom and is going with an established author. He also changed the submission rules for subsequent PFS scenarios (full adventure or 500-word query, then full adventure) to try to boost the quality of the submissions.

Well that sucks. I have the Absalom book, and I think your ideas dovetailed nicely. Now maybe it didn't mesh with their ideas or future Absalom plans, but that's not your fault (or any of the other submitter's faults).

Didn't get much written yesterday and nothing today. Not being able to go back and edit/gut it is really bothering me.

It's hard to say. I have a tendency to write more "traditional" style adventures, so that hurts. Plus I used the Minotaur Prince in a way that may have run counter to their plans. He was really supposed to be a launching point for the author's own ideas. A lot of people struggled with this open call, that's for sure.
I have an idea that I'm going to throw Josh's way and see if he likes it. I just have to get it in a 500-word proposal.
I'm learning that it works better for me to just get the words in the document when I write. Then I can go back and edit later. I worked on something where I edited as I went along and totally threw it out because I over-wrote the piece. It was horrendous, and I had to apologize to my critique group when they reviewed it. Obviously, what works for me doesn't necessarily work for anyone else. I was just sharing. :)

You know, just the other day, on a lark, I was musing to myself and nobody in particular, that....though inherently intrinsic to Dragonlance, draconians really aren't mutually exclusive to the aforementioned campaign setting.

I try to just get it on paper first, but I can't go more than a couple pages or so without making at least two editing passes. With NaNoWriMo, I just started with a two sentence idea and two very vague characters... normally, I like at least of page of 'hooky' backstory, a half-dozen conflict ideas, and a pretty complete outline.
