Crap. No wonder some people have inexplicably stopped speaking to me outside this thread.

Seriously.

I can't be bothered to read this thread, and I post in it.

Silver Crusade (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Hmm. It feels like it's been a while since I had top of the page. Feels good.

No campers this morning?

I like camping because I get to go #2 in the woods.

Are we having fun?

After a quick random dive into my Flashdrive o' PDF Goodness...

"Every four levels thereafter (9th, 13th, and 17th), a fighter becomes further trained in another group of weapons."

Phantom post.

David, did you intend your book project to confuse the thread, or remain distinct? Maybe we should go back and put our quotes in quotes, so that responses to the project aren't read as responses to posts?

No. I just did it because there din't seem like a lot going on and it as a way to jumpstart things.

You killed it.

Shadow Post...?

I thought about it, but the closest book to hand is something that carries at least a slight risk of a debate I don't want to bring into this thread. Can I use the second closest book instead? =)

We would never start a flamewar in this thread. It's safe to post it here.

~looks around~ Interesing! Have fun you all!

Good luck to Patrick and David.

Sigh ....

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Yeah, the idea that we would start a flame war over this is just plain ridiculous.

PICTHFORKS! Get your pitchforks!

Can't have a riot without one!

Get one for yourself and one for your friend...a back-up might save you in the end!

Hey, when do youse guys head out for interviews?

Mairkurion {tm} wrote:

Well, my apologies to the noble posters here, but I've got a horror of mentioning politics or religion, even tangentially .... after all, all it would take is one hiccup, and then I'd be responsible for wrecking a thread that I've been enjoying! =)

What are we going to not talk about next, CB, sex? ;)

Seriously, I understand your reticence, but I think this thread is safe. And it warmed my little anglophilic heart to see you quote from the King James.

Heh .... good luck NOT talking about sex with Moorluck around! ;) Or Solnes, for that matter .... We need a thread mascot, Lusty the Leprechaun, methinks ....

You know, there are so many ways someone could take that and run with it .... ;D

It's a good thing I'm fairly bad at innuendo and double entendre, other then accidentally =) ....

It's funny how we go through insanely fast and insanely slow periods.

Wow, that was perfect timing.

We try.

Silver Crusade (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Mmm. Pizza.

Mmmm....U-Create-Wok.

Silver Crusade (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Is it naptime?

After I eat my wings and fries.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

I'm gettin' jazzed up with espresso. Can't think about lunch yet...will probably have a late lunch.

Mmmmm .... cheddar cheese sandwich with onions, olives, and lettuce ....

Silver Crusade (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Espresso sounds delicious.

I put a note in my company's suggestion box that the cafeteria should staff an espresso bar. I think with somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 people working here, they could support a coffee cart, given the popularity of blended and espresso-based drinks. They didn't respond to me though...

Again, some comments should go unmade.

Do you think D&D in particular brought dragons to the forefront, or fantasy literature?

How did this trend begin?
