So I heard from the school. They have offered us the opportunity to do a homebound study. This basically means that for 30 days they will have him come in after school for an hour or hour and a half a day and he will do his work and study then. This will give me time to get him on the meds, see if the meds work, and get his IEP in place. If he qualifies for the IEP than legally can move him to any school I desire that has the programs I see that will suit him. And His Charter school has said they if the meds help nd things calm down, than he is welcome back. :D

Deep breath...things will be ok.

That is good news.

That's good news, right? At least you know what's ahead of you. Have you seen a doctor about meds, yet?

I hope it all works out, and he can go back to the charter school.

It is good news. I am relieved. And yeah, I talked to the doc, he has an appt for Monday. So the meds will have time to work...and we have time to adjust them, and decide what works and what doesn't. Now I just pray that the meds work. I will feel horrible for giving in and medicating him if it isn't what is needed.

Has anyone here read the Man in the High Tower?

I read it almost 20 years ago for a college "Literature of Science Fiction" class. It was a good alternate history story from what I remember, but, other than the major plot points, the details are lost on me now.

I first read it about 2o years ago as well. I didn't even make it out of the library the first time I checked it out. Now my son is reading it. I feel old.

Hey Solnes, school doing good about 6 weeks left in the semester. Muay thai is also going ok, did conditioning instead of sparing today and am now just getting a bit of feeling in my quad back. And trip in may still happening at this point, may even add a few days to the trip.

So it turns out that the argument that my wife and I had about the bestiary occured less than an hour after she had secretly ordered it for me. Now I really feel like an ass.

Wow you guys are so slack. ;)

You are indeed an ass, and now a member of a long and distinguished list of asses, welcome to the honor roll!

Thanks. Somehow that doesn't make me feel better.

~chuckles~ Oh well. Give her a kiss, take her out to eat, and then take her home and give her a long massage. Or just beg for forgiveness for the next 20 years.

You must work in Human Reasources.

Well, she doesn't know that I know yet. She accidently stayed logged in to her e-mail, so when I went to check mine, there was the order confirmation.

Then say that you are sorry for being so immature and you know that you will eventually get the Bestiary. Then thank her for loving you despite you being such a child. ~wicked smile~ Then sigh and say "But I still want it now!" and run for your life.

Well, they'll take a turn one way or another soon. God, I hate ultimatums. :(

David, you're an ass...but a lucky ass. ;)
