Meh. I did enough running whilst under Uncle Sammy's dominion. I swore not to ever run again once I got discharged, and so far I have managed for nine years :P

The Why does Paizo's Bestiary make the same mistake as 3.0 and 4e MMs thread. I can't recommend it, though: there was too much of people being on hair triggers and overly emotional. Defensey and attacky at the same time. I'm beginning to think that we should impose a rule on ourselves: no posting while upset. Go away, calm down, take some time, then come back and post constructively, if at all. I know I wouldn't be mature enough to adhere to such a rule, but I sure am thinking about it. I guess it's easy to say as I'm in bed spooning my bestiary, but that's where I am right now.

Well, there are actually no native land high trophic-level animals, so it's mostly the little and aquatic ones.Is it just me, or is Australia an entire continent of fauna that wants to kill people?And then the sharks, stingrays, and blue-ringed octopi can take their turns with you.Impressive, but do they sink ships?No, they prefer to just sting you to an excruciating death instead...Yep... although technically Sting Rays aren't that much of a threat (Steve Irwin not withstanding). Sharks are definately a problem, although not so much around here, more Southern Australia. Blue-ringed Octopi are very nasty but not really much of a threat unless you are stupid. I haven't heard about any kind of BRO related incident in a very long time.
And then of course you get out of the water and it's a whole nother story of deadly... :/
People have even been killed by fairy penguins.

I popped into that thread, but made my will save and decided it as nothing I wanted to be involved in. I can't say I'm surprised it got locked.

Well, sometimes it's easy to forget that everybody hates the avatar of rationality and fairness when they're being unreasonable. :)

The running is more to get my daughter motivated to run, so she can play soccer next spring. It also works for me, because being 60 pounds overweight isn't doing me any favors in the long term.
I just got back from running with my daughter. OK, "running" is not totally accurate. I made it 1/4 of a mile, walked 1/4 of a mile, jogged another 1/8, then walked another 1/8. It can only get better...
