Tomorrow is Election Day in the United States. Please remember to go out and vote for the cadidate of your choice, regardless of who it is. Even if it is just a mayoral or city council election, go and vote. The only wasted vote is the one that is not cast.

Bill Lumberg,

Ugh. I have been giving serious consideration to not voting in tomorrow's NJ gubenatorial race. The Democratic candidate has no realistic plan to ameliorate the state's financial mess whereas the Republican candidate has no plan of any kind. There is an independent candidate but he will not win. I could write in a prior candidate who was eliminated during the primaries but, again, he will not win. This feels like the 2000 presidential election all over to me.

I will vote 'no' on a bond issue but, as always, it will pass.

I've been watching the New Jersey race, as it seems like a bellweather for the desire for a third party in the U.S. New York 23 was a similar bellweather until the Republican dropped out. Just remember what the third party guy said. A vote on principle is never a wasted vote.

You know adding a third party does not really make it better - it just means you have three crappy choices instead of two crappy choices.

If I hear the Liberatarian candidate in my local city council race complan that the city waived taxes on the new swimming pool again, I am going to scream. I thought Liberatarians were opposed to taxes.

Bill Lumberg,

I voted against the bond issue which will pass anyway. Then I wrote in the name of someone who is not even running.

Universal sufferage should be very narrowly restricted.

Bill Lumberg,

Damned, miserable, ignorant voters...

They passed the bond issue that I, in my sage wisdom, voted against. I retain my almost zero-percent success rate in voting.

Well we had a mayor's race yesterday and two open city council seats. Of the three votes I cast only one of my candadates won. But at least the nutcase liberatarian who wants to close down construction on the new city pool and complains that the city waived taxes on it's construction lost.

The problem here is not one of you ran for office.

RUN FOR MAYOR
PRIMARY POLITICAL POLICY: Every Act of Government, Law, Constitution, Executive requires the direct and regular approval of Every Citizen.

Its all about Ethics. Once you have everyone with a seat for life in Parliament then you wont need to pay Aldermen for being elected because you and every other citizen will be paid five dollars for turning out to vote once a month.
