MSNBC is reporting the Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha is dead as a result of complications of surgery. Rest in Piece Jack.
John or Jack?
His given name is John, but for some reason he mostly went by Jack.
RIP.
(Also, he was a congressman, not a senator.)

Fixed. MSNBC did say Senator during their coverage though. Of course it's the same MSNBC that called Joe Biden "the former vice president."
So does the Wiki article on him.
R.I.P. dude.
All I know is that he was looked at for ethics issues. Other then him being gone, is there something he was known for?

I didn't agree with his politics for the most part, but I hope he rests in peace.

+1

I find it tragic that he died, even more tragic that no one listened to the Vietnam Vet when it came to Iraq/Afghanistan.
