Just wanted to say that I caught up on almost all of these while I was on vacation over the holidays, and I'm really enjoying this podcast. Keep up the good work, you've picked up another listener.

That really means a lot, Knight. Thank you!

Am I a bad person? I'm finally listening to Atomic Array and my daughter comes in the room and wants to listen to Abba's Dancing Queen and I said "No. Give me my space. I'm listening to Atomic Array." Meanwhile, your guest Matthew Grau is saying something like "It's dangerous; very dangerous" to describe something in the CthulhuTech universe and my daughter starts running around my basement/office yelling "It's dangerous! Very dangerous!" so I scolded her and said "Get your backside upstairs or I'll sick Cthulhu on you!" and she cries. So, am I a bad person?

I just think it's cool that your daughter knows who Cthulhu is.

For having Abba in your house, yes you are. :)

Not necessarily bad, but I don't think threatining that you are going to sick Cthulhu on her is a very good way to get someone upstairs, Dad.

Just my two cents.

I would have to concur.

Fun fact: current Nightwish frontwoman Annette Olzon was once a member of an Abba tribute band. Not metal AT ALL. I like her, though, cheesy dance moves and all.

Fun fact: The sanity loss caused by encountering Cthulhu is exactly the same as the sanity loss caused by listening to ABBA. *grin*

Just started listening to the Atomic Array podcasts and I am greatly enjoying them. It adds another to the long list of RPG podcasts I try to keep up to date with ... good thing I can listen to them at work.

We all need our bogeymen. How else do we keep children from crossing against red lightsor beating us with sticks while we sleep while shouting, "Funny gooshy pinata!" You chose Cthulhu as the face of the phantom... some people actually choose ABBA.

Question. Have you ever seen Cthulhu and ABBA together in the same room?

Did you know if you play "Mama Mia" backwards the lyrics actually say "Ia Ia, Cthulhu Ftaghn" ?

This is a story that needs telling in public forum.

Thank you for the advice. From now on, instead of teaching my children to fear Cthulhu and love Abba, I will teach them to love Cthulhu and fear Abba. All this is to say, I take my Atomic Array very seriously.

Dude, I thought I brought it up when You, Hitch, Stefan and I went to that Japanese joint on Sunday. Perhaps we should switch our regular big dinner for that place?

I don't rightly know, honestly. :\ If we get there this year, I think we should all check it out (via cab ride). Nick Oppedisano was sensitive to spicy so Drunken Nomad told him to order this certain kind of mild chicken entree and Nick was quite pleasantly surprised that he liked Indian food.

When we got back to my hotel, because I was on a VIP floor I invited the guys into my floor's lounge, this huge, sort of fancy room with many tables, couches, TVs, business equipment, big plants... a bar... food and drinks free from the fridge. Ed Healy and Greg Oppedisano enter the lounge behind me, being almost overly friendly and conversational with some other guys sitting there playing a Star Wars RPG and I can't figure out why. Then ten minutes later Greg asks me something that let's me know he and Ed thought that entire lounge was my bedroom. They thought those others guys were rooming with me.

I have to say, being momentarily confused for a millionaire wasn't the worst sensation ever.

So long as all dem 'spensive 'lectrics don't get filmed over in carbon grime, why not! Rumor has it that Voltron was actually a five-chamber water pipe.

I really enjoyed the Pathfinder episode and I'm half way through the Cthulu Tech episode. Solid, quality work.
BTW, how big of a Gil Hibben do you need to have to play tic-tac-toe on the moon anyways?

I believe Gil's The Ultra Slashinator X could just barely reach the moon. Its blade is 15,133,979,520 inches long, but the cost was really reasonable. It was the shipping and handling that killed me.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Right here ye find Episode Fourteen of Atomic Array, featuring the Savage Worlds edition of Wil Upchurch’s Sherwood, by Battlefield Press.

We got Wil on the show to talk about his game and landed an interview with Marc Gacy, the man charged with translating the original d20 rules into Savage Worlds.

Sherwood, whether played romantically ala Errol Flynn or as gorily as the original legend, is a game that rewards creative storytelling flair, so if you like hamming it up and swinging from chandeliers (even when not two sheets to the wind), you’ll want to listen in and check it out, man. (<-- the italics will suddenly make sense after you’ve heard the show.)

The ‘sing-along car wreck’ Easter egg at the very end of this show will probably stand out as my favorite for a long time to come.

Ed did what I consider to be his best pick segment thus far, talking about what he considers to be a superior, and relatively recent filmic rendition of Robin Hood, and I folded a few statements I made here on the Paizo boards into a rant about people who cheat at games. Witness how a five year old slaughtered me in a contest of wits. I was far too impressed to be humiliated.

We announce winners to the Alpha Omega giveaway, and tell you how you can win a copy of Sherwood. Don’t forget, you have until January 23rd to enter the Cthulhutech giveaway.

We also offer a few details about our new podcast, RPG Countdown, sponsored by RPGnow and coming at you a little later this month.

Word.

I have dual displays on my computer. Left pane is usually cartoons. RIght pane is Paizo. Were it not for that I would post here no more than once a day.
