Oh, and I don't want to forget about the other performers, like Marques Colston who got 21 points. Shame I left 15 points on the bench in the shape of Donald Driver, but hopefully I'll be able to get away with it.

Seriously though, Chris Johnson was unreal.

It's not over yet, but it looks as if I get 35 points from Frank Gore and STILL lose! As I post this I am tied, but the Allstars get Peyton Manning tomorrow night and after the current games end I am done. Maybe, just MAYBE Rivers or Gore can pile on a couple of touchdowns and try and squeak this one out...but I doubt it! :-)

Johnson had an incredible game!

114-113 at the end. I'm glad my Baltimore defence held out and stole an interception against Rivers, giving me the points I needed to just get past the Runelords, so Peyton isn't needed tomorrow. Still, Gore and Rivers really gave me some worries. I thought Johnson and Colston gave me a pretty untouchable lead, but it got damn tight at the end!

Exciting match up though. Unlucky that you didn't get a lead that would have forced Peyton to perform tomorrow.

Do I get everyone's paizo products if I win?

Well i lost my first one 112-85. A couple of guys really did not live up to expectations.

Happy to kick all your butts this year. My only loss is when I was offline for a week while I moved out here to Cali =P

Btw, Garden Gnomes, you might wanna pay more attention to who has a bye week and what not. =P

Yeah the Valkyries should too. I totally missed that three of my starters had bye weeks when I was setting my roster on Friday. It's okay, cause my bench wouldn't have done much better.

Vikings ftw! They helped the Valkyries pull out a win this week!

The Allstars beat RBN by a whopping three points. Man that was close..

Top of the table now!

Doing well in both my leagues. 3-1 in both leagues. Favre really helped out last night. Keeping him in against St. Louis next week. Gonna tear up that defense lol.

With both my starting wide recievers on bye weeks, it's time to bring out Marshall and Bryant. The term 'Gamble' comes to mind, though Marshall's had a complete attitude adjustment, so should do well. I hope. Bryant is more of an issue, given that he's still not 100%. He should be fine to play, just not all the game.

Might also switch out Jones, though I don't really have any other RB's on the bench who can do better, except for Turner, but he's struggled so far this season too. Decisions decisions..

I'm also highly glad I got Roethlisberger as my backup QB. He'd probably be a starting QB in many of the other sides, and getting them loads of points. Anyone want to trade, hmm?

my team looks good

Go River Bottom Nightmare Band

Looking forward to this weekend! Myself and Valks going head to head! Both 4-1 teams for the top spot!

It sure would be nice to look forward to the weekend! :-) Me, I'm looking at a heaping plate of fresh, steaming humiliation served up by the River Bottom Nightmare Band! While they haven't won yet...it sure looks that way. My neck hurts from looking up at everybody else in the standings! :-)

Looks like I am going 5-1 in both my yahoo leagues to lead both of them! Pretty happy about that! Just gotta keep hanging on now till the playoffs.

I might actually win tonight, in spite of forgetting about Dallas' bye week (and LaDanian is going off so far...) and leaving Welker and his 27 points on the bench...

Still trying to figure out how my opponent's kicker has ten points from one extra point...

Edit: Never mind. I forgot the game is already over and I'm watching it from my DVR.

Wow, I feel like an idiot right now...

I won!!! 2-4! We're rolling now!

:)

Johnson just keeps on beasting the opposition. 35 points on his own this week, and I'm back on top of the table. Woohoo!

Only two games from first, and picked up some prime talent today (well, Smith is prime is Delhomme can keep his head out of his ass...).

Looking good for the stretch run...

Johnson and Turner are fast becoming a pair of really, really scary running backs. Doubled their projected points this week, and Johnson's leading the NFL in terms of yards gained (824). I'm sure glad I picked them!

Irking me off that I have lost a few weeks in a row. Getting trounced is no fun. It's wierd, because I have good players. I just am seeing them not produce on certain sundays and others they go nuts. Also, the bye week thing has killed me a few weeks. It sucks.. I am leading another league at 7-2 and being mediocre in this one. *sigh*

First Place baby

+1

Least I'm moving up. 4th place. Kicking myself in my other league. I was in 1st place and started warner instead of farve at QB. Warner gets hurt and goes out of the game. Farve threw 4 tds. I lost by 2 points. Ugh lol.

should we do this again?

ESPN would be best for me, I already have six leagues there, so keeping them all in one place suits me best.

Hells yes. The Allstars are gonna win the title this time round!

I didn't receive an invitation. ancient sensei (one word) at gmail.

invited

How many is that? Leagues work best with 8 (think 25 point buy) 10 (20 point) or 12 (15 point) teams. Anything less can get hairy (like weekly scores in the 230s for a team that hits on all cylinders).

right now we have 7 although not everyone who posted here has accepted the invite

we need at least one more

i like at least 10. 12 would be ok too

8 is too all-star teamish

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

I'll get a guy from my group, he'll play for sure. I'll post up his address tomorrow morning.

Ten seems to work best, not too "all-starish" but you're also not forced to start too many slot receivers/back up (or second fiddle in a RB by committee) RBs.
