At the next Monday Night Movie Chat we have a request!
Drop in and be haunted by Il nome della rosa, also known as "The Name of the Rose" . Based on a novel by Umberto Eco, it's a historical whodunnit—a murder mystery set in an Italian monastery in the year 1327.

The Cleric spell battles are awesome!

Hah, I was able to buy a copy at the used DVD place for the same price as a Blockbuster rental! :->
The chatroom is a little sluggish right now (but not as nearly as bad as this morning). The hoster was kind enough to restart services for me on emergency notice, so I will ask that people refrain from excessive usage of emoticons tonight.
I heard from someone who talked to someone who may or may not have been Razz making s&@~ up that WotC bought the DMTools chat room and that they are retooling it, but without the letters "r", "d", or "p" or the dinosaur that kills and eats the smiley face to make it more compatible with 4e. My understanding is that the novel War and Peace is actually about the chatroom and 4e, if you replace every third word with "4e" and change the character of Vladamir to "WotC" and you smoke a combination of PCP and furniture wax while reading it.

Seriously. My tinfoil hat told me this.
......where do you come up with this s#~%?
Given that you are an AI built by WotC to spread lies and dissent, I'm not surprised that you would attack me for telling the truth!

Chat withdrawl is a horrible, horrible thing. I've been forced to complete projects today, which is a horror beyond the ken of mortals. Beer and cookies to Lilith as she works diligently on the chat server. Our prayers and copious swearing are with you.

DUDE! WTF is that avatar. That's some creepy s&&$.
I'm suffering - I was looking forward to discussing my Lucrecia build to see if it was broken. I took away her weapons, figuring doing 1d6 Wisdom damage 3x per round was better than hp damage.

It's my "Sebastian has destroyed my soul" avatar. Too many people were using my old one, so I switched to something hideous that I'm pretty sure won't see widespread use. :D
And yes, Wisdom drain is a quick way to down meatshields. Almost as fast as Charisma damage. *hugs his Ego Whip*

Your welcome. Like I always say, the only thing my soul ever did was itch and try to keep me from being entertained.

Plus there's a spell from SC that lets you do natural attacks at a range, and the spell itself is a swift action. I'm picturing the following:
1. Fight defensively (hey, it's a touch attack, not like you need it).
2. Use that spell to hit the cleric with a full attack (his touch AC sucks and taking 3d6 Wisdom out of him will make him unable to cast spells).
3. Use the ranged touch spell again plus an empowered mind poison to hit the wizard (he has a 3 Str, so 1d6 x 1.5 Str damage should take him out of the fight).
4. Proceed to wreck the front line (who hopefully haven't been able to do much damage in rounds 1-3).
Edit: I'm trying to chase down a few details that seem to be missing (like tab completion). If you suddenly lose connection, then just hit the browser's refresh button - I might have reconfigured the chatroom, which sometimes needs a refresh to update itself.
Hmm...some things don't seem to be working, like the tab completion for names. Not sure why. :( Will file a bug report.
If there's a delay on loading (and you're seeing a bright green chatroom), give it a moment to load things up (I've noticed this delay is a bit longer with IE 7). Any other weirdness, please let me know.
