Arguing about whether you were arguing or not? No wonder they banned your butt!

;P
Just joking, sorry to hear that about the chatroom and your issue there(I missed it but I like you so I'll commiserate).

I just got home from work and I'm investimigating.

Oh great. With Sergeant Daigle on the job, the chatroom will be literally burning within the hour and we all will have been banned...

;-)

And the socks - but only the left ones. I'm not sure why he doesn't take the right socks, but that's his MO.

It's because praying mantises don't have right feat--only left ones.

Kobold Cleaver, you were initially kicked by the chatroom because you starting flooding the chatroom with emoticons. That's an automatic kick.

You then proceeded to keep doing it, which is why you were banned. Filling the chat with emoticons causes everything to slow down for everybody that is connected to the chatroom, much as trying to do an absurd dice roll causes the chat room to choke. I take this very seriously, even if you do not.

As you stated, you spammed the chatroom. Deliberately. You kept doing it. You got banned. The ban is temporary. There is no justification for spamming in the chatroom, and the resulting "punishment" you got was fair.

Sigh no time to come in and chat anymore. Plus I work all day.

There's your interpretation, which by your rules, cannot be denied. I have already given up arguing, especially given the amount of trolls I was exposed to when I tried. So be it.

I don't get the hurt feelings, honestly. It's Lilith's chat room, after all. Her "interpretation" and her "rules" are law there. I'm certain she wouldn't react any other way to anyone else who did the same thing.

That said, if folks started hating on you for doing it, that's too bad, but as a general rule it's best to stop doing stuff that annoys folks when you realize it's annoying. If you don't then you deserve the backlash, I say.

That said, I wasn't there to see things go down. It sounds like things have been resolved, so let's let it pass here in the boards as well. No need for a "last word" tactic, please.

The thing was, I did not realize it was annoying people, for reasons stated above. That's all I'm saying, I accept Lilith's decision.

It's true. They are strictly for fighting about 4e and politics. Focus people, focus!

Show me your focus face.

Mmmmm! Pancakes with Margarita topping...(KC, I'm just having fun with the House of Pancakes thing. If it really P's you off, just let me know).

Nope, it's fine. What I did was a joke, none of it serious.

Week 62

At the next Monday Night Movie Chat:

"Excalibur (1981) " .

No mortal could possess it! No kingdom could command it!

A spirited accounting of one of the most obscure periods of the world's history. This reprisal is magical in its execution and gives its audience something to watch.

Monday @ 9pm EST

30 minutes until "Excalibur (1981) " .

Heh heh....my posts don't seem to show up there on the chat, if anyone wonders at my silence.

We're experiencing unfortunate lag at the moment.

Right on. I didn't want everybody to think I was being a wanker.

Don't worry, man. We know better.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

I gave up...it was taking my posts forever to show up, and then they'd be way out of context.

I started playing Out of Context Bingo.

I think I'm winning.

Um, yeah...

David, there are many things you do not understand.

Is that the best you could come up with in four minutes?

If you refuse to return my card I'll see you in chat!

And then you'll see my outrageous personal attack in about 3 minutes!

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

David, are you always changing your name in chat? Damn confusing. Also, I have no ability to know who you are without a red lizard beside your name. This is what I am reduced to.

I chat as David.

Also...

Spoiler:
I'm thinking about changing my avatar to one of the other red lizards.

Quicker to post here than in chat ATM...too funny.

That's what I've been noticing.

14 minutes between the time I said g'night to Wulf and the time it showed. I can't remember the address for the "Emergency Shelter"...s'pose I could find it somewhere in this thread.

Also...** spoiler omitted **

Ah, good to know. And I have no problem with another red lizard, but when Veector changed his avatar, I forgot his handle on the boards for weeks until someone could tell me what it was, even though I remembered his legal name. :S

"Robot Holocaust (1986)" .

It's machine vs. man in the ultimate battle for the future!

Neo, a drifter from the atomic-blasted wastelands, arrives with his klutzy robot sidekick at a factory.

Monday @ 9pm EST

Starting now.

For tonight's chat, it will be hosted here, courtesy of Dennis da Ogre. Thanks Dennis!

Qadira (Pathfinder Superscriber)

Lilith! The chatbeast hatched!

EDIT: oh sure, beat me too it by a single second...

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path Subscriber)

Anyone else having problems getting into the alternate chat room?

I am!

Andoran (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path Subscriber)

Try again now Yoda, seems to be working

EDIT: um, spoke too soon

*stab stab stab*
Otay, let's try something more familiar...

Ack!

Hey, that's Bill the Cat's line!

Heading for *emergency shelter*.
