Congrats! Will see you at PaizoCon UK then :-D

Congrats! Does it come with its own tower and dungeon? Or will you have to add on?

No dungeon alas, but a crawlspace and a walk-in closet bigger than the first place I had with the hubby. No neighbors on one side either, so I can gaze down upon my supplicants!

Hey, don't waste the cookies on the masses!

Hey Lilith,

Please pay the Girl Scout Cookie makers a visit in their dreams and sternly warn them to stop making the boxes of Thin Mints smaller.

That is NOT a good thing.

The really good thing happening in my life right now is that my fiancee and I are planning for our wedding in September this year

Wife found her stolen wallet with all her stuff still inside it. Thank god for being able to cancel cards over the phone- it frustrated the individual we think, so he/she tossed it rather than be caught trying to use a cancelled card.

Where I live, police are looking for a guy who snatched the bag that a little old lady was carrying. He's already having a bad day - the lady was walking her dog and the bag was full of poo.

This is poetic justice. This I like. I furverently hope that the poo bag broke.

Got a contractor coming out to the house today to give a quote on our kitchen mods. All I really want is a dishwasher and a better sink - the rest is gravy.

that is that little, wonderfull miracle, every day we awake and don't even think about it: We are alive!

It sets so many things back into perspective to remember that we live, what could be more important? the only thing : when your loved ones are alive and well.

Got my Invisible Character Marker Set and Figure Flight Stands that I ordered from Paizo - all glued together and drying.

Also, as mentioned above, we had a contractor come out today to give us a labor price on our kitchen remodeling. The price was much lower than we expected and well within our budget.

The reason I haven't been on the messageboards lately: I'm home for the week. I've been basically attached to my girlfriend (yesterday was our one year anniversary), and at this point, I'm deliriously happy. Too bad I have to go back to SCAD on Sunday...

Dupe post -

My city was going to cancel funding for our city's Memorial Day parade. Through the efforts of individuals and groups it's back on!

Congrats to my daughter's dance teams for raising over a thousand dollars in a bottle return fundraiser.

There are some pretty darn good people around these parts. :)

I'm beginning to revise my opinion on small-town cops.

Saturday night, I was a complete mess. The stress of going back down to Georgia was getting to me, and... I don't quite know. All I know is that I got stopped by the cops for "driving erratically." When the officer came up to my window, I just knew what I was going to hear: "Have you been drinking tonight? I'd like you to step outside the vehicle...etc."

Instead, what I got was: "Are you alright? You seem pretty busted up about something." After a five-minute conversation, he let me off without even a warning.

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy about being here, but at least the police officer was being nice.

I'm going on a date tomorrow. Well, more of a "semi-date," but still.
First one in... well, years actually.
