I wish we could eavesdrop on the debates during the drafting of the Constitution and compare them to the political threads here. I fear they might be oddly similar. OTOH, perhaps this is the mechanism of governmental evolution to fit the times. Maybe the debate is a good thing.

This is nothing. During the election cycle it got really nasty. :)
Mulling over funny thoughts about the term 'governmental evolution'. It brings all kinds of snarky thoughts to mind. Almost thought it said 'political evolution', which is even funnier. Must come up with some funny jokes.
That's why we hide here, with our BttH, beer, children sanity checks, recipe swapping, etc. This is our refuge, our nutty collection of friends. Out of all the rebirths of FAWTL, we have few real arguments. It is our Shangri-la.

Debate is always a good thing. The subtle and not so subtle asshattery that some engage in, while claiming civility, is never a good thing.
Had one the other day. Heavily accented overseas man starts talking about prescription renewal. Since I was waiting on mine I was confused enough to keep listening. Then the guy starts into 'for $100 we can renew Oxycotin, prescription diet meds, etc.' Not only a telemarketer but illegal/bogus crap. Wow. So much for the do not call list.
Bet you're all out there playing games, or recovering. Fine, be that way. In a couple of weeks I'll be able to play again and I'll show you! Actually, I could play now but I don't care for Fantasy Hero. Sorry Courtfool. That's what's up in our rotation. I'm supposed to run next but I think I'll switch with my bud and see if I can handle 4 hours of playing before I leap back into GM'ng.

I was just huntin' Raiders and Slavers in the Wastelands.... poor outgunned schmucks, they never stood a chance.
Hmmm...Fallout 3 or DA miight be nice. Haven't played much lately, but I hope eye strain doesn't set in. When I play a fun game I tend to ignore the clock.
I started Fallout 3 again... thanks to my urging Moorluck to get it and him regularly playing it while we Skype and him telling me all the good bits from the DLCs I missed. So I picked up Broken Steel and Point Lookout (I already had The Pitt and Operation:Anchorage) and now am just racking up some levels with some low tier missions so I can go do some new stuff. :)
