The wife bought me a 6-pack of Harps. 'For when I get better.' Cruel or thoughtful? Now to hide it from my sons.

EDIT: Beer gift for ToP! Woo hoo!

Good night, monkey. Good night, zombie. Hmm, sounds like part of a children's book.

Happy birthday, E7!

Thanks, Taig!

Thanks! When the docs clear me to go back to work I'm taking that as clearance to have a beer or two. :)

This is the first time ever that I have been buried in cards, FB notes, messageboard notes, and well wishes. You people are awesome! Best medicine ever. Thank you all, and good night!

Good night buddy, and Happy Birthday. Get some rest and we'll see you on the morrow.

Andoran (RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16)

Good night. I hope to post from my hotel room tomorrow night.

Bookmark and bed time post.

E7, Happy Birthday again babe! So glad you made it to this one, and many more. :D

Well, I dmed both a 3.5 session and a Pf session in my home setting. First, playing Pf, my daughter and her b/f made an initial successful sally against a nest of Tiamat cultists. Next, my daughter and my nephews sandboxed across the countryside and found out that a country inn was being robbed at night by goblins, which they sliced to ribbons. A fun few days.

Cool.

Isn't it nice to play with people who can get excited about killing goblins. :)

On another note, I stretched out on the couch around 1900 and woke up at 0040. Now, it's 0227 and I'm stuck wide awake. :(

You could always drink coffee, he he

Sleeping pill?

Eric Swanson wrote:

So, I take it your suggestion is that after a few hours without caffeine, imbibing some may reduce the withdrawals to the point where I can sleep some more? :)

Twin Agate Dragons wrote:

But, the problem is that I slept for five hours. It is not a full eight but enough for me to be wide awake and not sleepy now but it will probably hit me hard sometime later tomorrow evening. My point is that it doesn't rise to the level of necessity due to emergency and that is basically the criteria I use for taking such medications including pain relievers as simple as Tylenol. So, when such a situation finally comes up, I have no "tolerance" for such things and something as simple as Tylenol will kill just about any pain up to and including badly bruised ribs.

Another thing is that I used to work midnight shift. So, if I stay up past midnight (or wake up and get up...) I am often completely awake until 0700 or 0800 with little to no effort. So, I am going to read my PF campaign guide on the couch until I feel like turning in.

G'night to all.

I've done that too Thing, it really sucks when ya find yourself wide awake in the wee hours of the morning knowing your gonna be exsausted the next afternoon.

It's such a nice spring day today, I really don't feel like doing anything significant.

And, judging by some of the threads I see, it looks like some trolls have been out and about.

Is it cannibalism if the trolls feed each other?

It seems that the trolls can't stand it if you don't accept their religion of big government.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

That's also why I wish they'd just take all the political/religious/my-way-of-life-is-better-than-yours crap and stick it in a single section that I could then collapse and ignore.

Yup. However, that thread was actually being polite until your zombie brother from another mother reared his ugly head. I love it when kids in their 20's who have little life experience read a few stats and think they have all the answers.

Can you tell that thread is agitating me? ;)

Garydee wrote:

Yep, sorry if I have done so. :(

On another note, after going to bed about 0430, I got up after 0900. So, I should be good with another 4 hours or so of sleep.

Morning to everyone. What is left of it, anyway.

BORED! Sat mornings at work SUCK!

On an up side. My grad party with my girlfriends is tonight. :D

Good morning, all!

E7: Happy birthday and many happy returns!

Solnes: Thanks so much for showing me the light of everything bagels. Having one now with onion and chive cream cheese. My only wish is that they had sunflower seeds. And conga rats on the gradiation! :)

Lynora: Achoo! Yeah, it's that time of year here, too. Weird allergy thing: years of allergy shots left my arms so sensitive that when mold or pollen flares, not only do I sneeze and sniffle, but my arms break out in hives. So the shots are effective at something anyway.

Others: please don't make this a political thread, pretty please?

A good garlic or onion bagel toasted with butter on it is yummy!

I think that's what threads like that are made for, hence my desire to not see them.

Not a problem. I was just blowing off a little steam. :)

Maybe a little acid rain would do the trick?
