Yup. Been reading "Appalachee Jihad" and L'ing MAO.

Morning all!

Treppa, missed this the other day in my haste. I'm glad you like the thread, it's a lot of fun running a comedic game like that, especially with the players I am working with.

Or misuse of "there"... :/

There going to get there arses kicked over there... aaaarghhhh!!!!!

EDIT: And I just saw your other post regarding other misused words.

Back when we were in High School, one of my friends used to dread giving me D&D stuff to read, because he would invariably get it back full of red pen...

Thanks. I only need them at night. The stress of my puppy passing hasn't helped the headaches, but both will get better in time. I can't wait to be normal again, if I ever was, or near normal.

Who is normal, really? :)

Normal's for suckers... ;)

I just hate that so many upper management/supposedly high profile people can't spell to save themselves... :/

The e-mails that I used to get from my Supervisor with a $70K salary when I managed the Bottle Shop made my head hurt.

It's late now and I'm going to bed. Have to be up in 4.5 hrs to go to work.

Oh and in the last week I've had 2 more people resign and not be able to finish out their rostered shifts. The lastest resigned tonight and can't do her shifts tomorrow and Saturday. >:(

Taig, sounds like Htown trip wasn't as fun as I'd hoped. :(

Nope, not Lent. St Paddy's day! Hope everyone had a great one. Took daughter and her b/f to a couple of game stores, rolled up pf characters, I start my first turn as GM under the new core rules. Can't believe it took this long. Today is derivative female biological unit's day of irruption from the womb. Where to eat? Heh, Paizo made some money off of this trip, too. But she couldn't find her Crimson Throne dice here...people were out.

It wouldn't be St. Patty's day if you didn't have cops in your front yard for a good portion of the evening.

Yeah, for me it was a fit hitting the shan issue that left a bunch of people with their panties in a twist, so to speak. After a day or two of madness, it's calming down. It could still re-explode, however. That's how it goes though.

An unlucky week for all it seems, myself included. Got ANOTHER flat yesterday(on a broken beer bottle...not to stereotype but I WAS close to a parade). Fortunately they fixed it for little to nothing.

You need either runflats or Kevlar tires. Flats are one of the reasons I quit biking. Nothing like getting stuck in the middle of the North 40 with a flat dreading that a refugee from Apalachee Jihad will come along and offer you "a ride." Eep.

Normally I have armadillo tires(the equivalent of kevlar tires for bikes), but they do not make them for folding bikes as of yet, since the tires are so small/awkward. I am looking forward to they day they come out. When they do, I will get a set and a whole mess of inner tubes, a portable pump, and a hex key thingamabob.

Just had instant wakame soup, yogurt and cranberry tea for breakfast. After last night's psuedo bender, I'm starting to feel like something approaching human.

Bleh, not a fan of coffee. I even don't care for the smell of most coffees.

Show off your tan when you can. On a related topic, it's going to be over 60 degrees here today I think, so I'm really looking forward to punching the clock and enjoying a leisurely ride to my friends house for our pseudo-weekly game.

Well, the big IEP meeting thingy was today. There was a distinct lack of organization on their part. The psychologist was confident that Bryce is not on the autism spectrum, but couldn't tell us why he has been exhibiting similar behavior patterns. But she did do a good job of explaining how she had done the testing and why she came to the conclusion she did. The school has pretty much decided that ADHD is the catch-all for what's wrong with him as that is at least sufficient to qualify him for the extra help he needs. I can't really blame them. There is a plan in place now to get extra help in the classroom for him and times when he will get extra sessions on learning how to write and on developing social skills. So it's not like they're not doing exactly what they need to. I'm just frustrated because all of this is treating the symptoms instead of finding and addressing the problem. I still have no idea how to help my son. :(

My buddy and I use the variant, 'Let your mortgage be your guide'. :)

Just got back from a long lunch walk. Quizno's. Mmmm...toasty. Time to recoup on the couch 'til my wife gets home from work. I used a hiking cane today. It helped me keep my balance better. When I looked around yesterday as I walked I got wobbly. Need to relearn basics I guess.
