I have it on my shelf with my other grammar and vocabulary books. Mom was an English teacher and librarian, so my interest is genetic, not professional.

That's ok. I'm a Mathematics major. But the ability to communicate well and correctly is still fairly important to me. "Then" and "Than" (technically) aren't even pronounced the same. It's not like the problems with its/it's, to/two/too, you're/your, there/their/they're, etc.

Where'd that soapbox come from?

How's life my brother from another Matron Mother?

Nothing too compelling or exciting. Trying to get stuff done around the house and refigure monthly expenses. It's lookin' like today is the last day of school for the lil lady this quarter. One more quarter to go and she should get her web design certificate. <crossing fingers> I suspect we'll probably be goin' to Cincy this weekend to visit her family.

And contrary to popular belief, there has been no actual 'drinking' from me today. And that reminds me, I need to get my NCAA bracketology done. I probably won't win, but I only participate with a ten spot because one of my friends run it. Not much of a gambler except for the once in awhile lottery ticket. I have other things to throw my money at wastefully. :P

And you and yours?

Pretty good, other than my grumbling. Took a long nap while wifey took the kidlets to a party. Getting ready to head back out here in a little bit.

And I also remain sober. ;)

~Adds radioactive isotopes to make some Nuka-Cola to send to Uri.~

Who else thinks it was pretty stupid to send me to an Irish pub to do pest control today? Cause you know, they're not gonna have anything going on or anything.

BTW, a very warm and heartfelt welcome to Moff. Please accept these (oYo) on behalf of my administration.

And wouldn't you know it.... nobody's on. :/

Hi guys, if I can add my two coppers, I enjoy Pepsi Throwback, or Diet Coke. I will drink RC with a moon pie or chocolate bar though. ;D

Anyone remember Hubba Bubba Cola?

Or Tab.

One night of gaming we had a big bowl of real whipped cream and were dipping strawberries in it. I took an oreo and took a big scoop of whipped cream with it. I think half the table had a heart attack for me.

Just think what (oYo) looks like. We use it for Boobs to the head, or BttH. It's become our rallying cry. ;)

From what I have seen it is more civil by far than the others.

Did I use the right Than?

Heathy you usually make my night....can't think of a time when you ruined it. :)

Where the Hell is the Badgah and the Professor? I miss em.

Ok hubby is gone, I think I will cook up some hush puppies and watch a show or somethin'. Talk soon.

I walked myself a half mile one-way today, the lure of a Wendy's burger leading me on. I even found my own way home without getting lost. Got really fatigued tho.

But of course the butthead neurologist didn't refill my Tylenol 3 scrip so it's going to be a rough night.

My day took a sudden turn for Suckville.

Work rant (again? Yes, again.):

Lo and behold, the competitors new pumps that I've been asking to get for 2 years so I can test with them are having problems. The geniuses I work for decide that I need to go the BUSIEST INTERSECTION IN HOUSTON to test an upgrade in the HOPE that upgrading the software will magically fix the problem. It worked fine yesterday, then they had a problem last night, but it looked like the pump went goofy. So, I'm thinking I dodged a bullet there. I stuck around for a while, and things were going pretty well, so I went to lunch. Luckily, I managed to finish lunch before hyper regional manager guy calls me to tell me the SITE IS DOWN!!! I go there, and things seem to be working fine, but then all of a sudden half the pumps have half their displays go into a standstill. So the site is no better off. I do have some tracing I can look at, but it seems like the problem is with their pumps. Of course, I can't experiment when 3 people are waiting in line to use each dispenser, so I'll go back to Greensboro where I can make guesses about the problems.

Mairkurion might be trying to keep to his Lent restriction today. I think he said Wednesday and Friday. Maybe he's out doing a pub crawl. :)

Andoran (RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16)

Darn, I missed Amby. I wanted to tell her that the Krenshar-Pei made it to KQ. Maybe next time.

Andoran (RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16)

Good night, Patrick.

E7, sorry you don't have any T3. I hope your night isn't too bad.

Drunk driver lady just pulled into our driveway with a bunch of cops behind her. Told them she lives here. Her heart seemed to sink a mile when I opened the door and the cop asked if she lived here. (she doesn't).

Why would you pick a lit up house with a car in the driveway, the television on, and people obviously inside if you're gonna pull that crap?

I hope we can keep her car :P

Thanks. I only need them at night. The stress of my puppy passing hasn't helped the headaches, but both will get better in time. I can't wait to be normal again, if I ever was, or near normal.

We could sure use that big ol' F150. I'm just glad she didn't run over too much of our lawn or sidewalk, and managed to stop short of our landscaping and porch. Not far short, but short enough.

I wish I'd seen her face when SP said, "No, we don't know her." Dumb bimbo.

I wonder what the neighbors think. Yeesh.
