So I spent a good portion of my day figuring out how to allocate my funds in order to become a Pathfinder Chronicles Superscriber by June and maintain it.
Were you successful?
Yes. Starting next month I begin my Adventure Path & Chronicles subscription. In May I begin my Companion subscription and in June I begin my Module subscription, completing all subscriptions needed to get my Pathfinder Chronicles Superscriber status and associated bling (grey box around my avatar and aliases).
And I just put the finishing touches on a checklist of all Pathfinder RPG material released to date (including 3.5 releases) plus future planned material. It'll help me to fill the gaps in my collection.

Very good, TAD. Enjoy. It kind of hurts not being a Chronicles subscriber.

Yeah, I'd much rather be buying through Amazon to get more bang for my buck, but the beauty is getting the PDFs. With all the hand copying of material that I do, the subscription will also be a huge timesaver.
Okay, I've been up for 7 hours and haven't had a bite to eat all day, so naturally I'm very hungry right now. So I'm off to eat some chicken and watch Buffy. Will be back later.

On the plus side, you also help them guaranatee a sale.
Reposting. Evidently, when you start a post half an hour before you post it, it appears in the thread as if you posted half an hour ago. Gary?
I'm getting caught up, so I'll post a bunch here and move on. :)
Woodraven:
Good luck with the medication. When I first started taking medication, I got scary angry, to the point where I came I almost purposefully ran into some jerk on a motorcycle. Other medication, Wellbutrin and Effexor, put me to sleep. Effexor ended up giving me hives, which my previous doctor didn't believe, which is why I don't see her anymore.
E7, Patrick, and CH: Sorry to hear about your medical horror stories. Patrick, your story is particularly tragic.
E7, I'm sorry to hear about your dog.
Freehold, glad your wife found her wallet, and sorry about your bad day yesterday.
Lynora, I hope this is the last you'll see of the flu. :)
The Houston trip is mostly successful. I managed to get the site up and running pretty well, at least to the point where some upper level manager guy wants to convert 100 of his stores to the new software...TODAY!!! Of course, my supervisor's boss sends out an e-mail praising my supervisor for "building a great team." Barf! Especially, since I was the one who made the (stupid) decision to move to the team, and I'm going to ask to move back mostly thanks to the aforementioned supervisor.
My mom got hospitalized Sunday night, a little while after we left. She fell out of her bed. Fortunately, she only bruised her leg from the fall. She is moving into a nursing home tomorrow. My aunt has pretty much cleaned out my mom's apartment, and she keeps asking me about my mom's cat. He's a 13 year old Persian, which my aunt won't take. I can't say too much because my aunt has been there for my mom, but the woman is a little touched and she keeps telling my mom that she's going to have to get the cat euthanized, which my mom doesn't need to hear. I'll probably be going back to Tennessee this weekend to visit my mom and take the cat with me--hopefully to a family or a shelter. If I can't find a home for the cat, I certainly won't tell my mom. :S
Hubby is asleep. Has been for like....3 hours now. I think he is out for the night. SO I am catching up on Bones episodes. Since he no like the show. :D

Morning all. Thanks for your sympathy Taig, it is a tough road sometimes, but you deal with the hand life gives you and roll on. Ally is a great kid despite her handicaps, and has taught me a lot just by being who she is. I personally believe she is incarnated as a teaching life, where an old advanced soul sacrifices to help others evolve along their path to apotheosis. But that's the panentheistic pagan in me.
Bummer dude. If it's any consolation, I won't be able to celebrate it properly. Think I'm coming down with a cold, so I likely won't be drinking today. :(
So tired... off to bed now and I have a 10+ hour day ahead of me tomorrow, so it'll be another day of cursory Posts tomorrow night after the kids are in bed methinks.

Well that makes two of us that won't. Only for me it's because I have to go back out tonight and do a late night german roach treatment at a bar/resturant.
