Gathered my strength and made the trek to my daughter's dance competition at U of M. She cried when she saw me. And her team took 1st place in Poms. Couldn't handle the noise for too long, but it is the best day in a long long time. Even before my brain bleed. My baby girl luvs me. :)

My family's visit with my mom went very well. She seems to be in good spirits, so that's good. We're now at the hotel, where my kids just finished swimming in the hotel pool. Time to grab some dinner and go back to visit my mom.

I hope you all are doing well this weekend.

E7, your brain thingy has just turned you into a big gooshy ball of love.

But seriously, you are right.

Birthday party in Temecula at Ruby Tuesday, for Brother and sister in law. Fun.

punches clock for second job

Ah. A man could get used to this, yes he could.

So, what's up everyone? What have I missed, if anything? It's pouring rain in Brooklyn, I don't envy the person going out of shift into Manhattan tonight for the second job. Still, nights like this remind me of sword class and running around Chinatown at close to midnight with aching muscles, a trick knee and squishy shoes...

Good to hear from you. I'm glad your mom's in good spirits, sometimes that means a lot more than any medicine one can take.

It's true. I wish everyone understood that.

The weekend will soon be full of

Shackled City Stuff:
demons, devils, and demodands (and worse?)
for all my buddies, as we roll into the home stretch of Shackled City. Love it ain't! Fun it shall be!

EDIT: Spoilered, just in case.

Slow night in the tower tonight. But we heard from E7 and Taig, so at least we have quality if not quantity.

Ah, Cauldron sweet Cauldron. We've had some great times with that AP. :)

Heya Taig! Glad to hear things are going well. And the trip was enjoyable. Positive thinking is important.

E7, so happy to hear you are feeling better and that your day was so enjoyable. Family is important.

We are being fun parents and letting the kids eat subs and chips for dinner with string cheese and Twizzlers for desert. They are also getting to stay up late to watch Spiderwick Chronicles. Yeah I know....its almost 10. But its good for em every once in a while.

I've GM'd it twice, and then ran a follow up to it staring the heroes kids. Sucks you've never got the chance to enjoy it.

Great doesn't even begin to describe the Shackled City path. It was .... it was.....A GREAT. Like a classic. Like Dragonlance. Well, for me anyways.

Yeah I bough the dead tree version, at my FLGS which set me back a pretty penny. Still gonna be worth something, he he.

These next few sessions are kinda bittersweet for me. SCAP was my first 3.5 DM'ing job... and my last. As soon as it's over, the 3.5 books get packed away in the archives. I really hope to make the ending memorable.

That said, Second Darkness in PRPG rules is next, so how bad can that be?

BTW, Solnes picked me up Boondock Saints 2 in the metal colectors tin tonight. Have I mentioned how much I love her. :D

We did enjoy Dragonlance, as much as we did SCAP, but the group we had then we a good one. Back before my lil brother was doing drugs. :S

About SCAP:

Spoiler:
I actually skipped the last chapter the second time we ran it. To me it just seemed better that way.
