Ugh....feelin' froggy this morning. I think it's the sudden change in temperature when we were sitting in the 20's and now it's coming to the mid 60's. I can't be sick. I have a concert festival to go to tomorrow. Grrr! And it's FREE. Who can beat FREE?
Went to Half Price Books last night and I found a bunch of old Dragon magazines for $1 a piece. Bought all 16 that they had. The oldest one was issue #17. I love Half Price Books, too bad the closest one is now about an hour away from me.

Definitely a +1. I've been coming across them too up here and grabbed the ones I didn't have, but they were going for $0.50 apiece.

The catch is ... someday to ever use them. But to be truthful, it's to farm/steal ideas into some future hodgepodge homebrew setting. Someday, someday, I will DM. :-)
Joan and Frank decided to surprise their families and elope, not knowing that Joan's father Daniel had just booked a large hall and caterer by taking out a second mortgage on his houseboat. Meanwhile, Sally became afraid for her life upon learning that her ex-husband Joe had broken out of prison in Paraguay and was on his way back to the states. Across town, the Annual Mime convention had gotten under way....NO wait! That's my soap opera.

Just your soap opera??? But I wanted to go to Joan and Frank's wedding!

Naah, I heard they weren't going to have any booze because of Joan's strict religious beliefs.

It was indeed a reference to CB.... but we are past that now.
Took our neglected kids to walk the mall tonight. Got them each a Orange Julius, A chocolate covered pretzel, dinner at the food court and let them peek out candy that may find its way into their Easter baskets. I managed to sweet talk the hubby into a pound of mixed Jelly Belly jelly beans. Dinner was Smitty's, and was soooo good. All the kids were very well behaved. Untill it was time to go home and they didn't want to touch one another....at all.....4 inches apart was not far enough. I remember yelling at my mom that my brother was touching me during car rides......now I know how she felt. ;)
Glad it went well for you. Your dinner sounds better than hospital food, he he.
