I am so happy to hear that he is doing so much better.
Goodnight, Solnes. And thanks for the reminder to breathe :)
This kind of stuff, makes me look like a fool, he he. But I have not raised any kids so I only throw my opinion out there, i am leery of drugs, and would prefer to avoid them if at all possible.
*puts on hypocrite hat, as I drink some coffee, he he.
I forgot to mention, I have been drinking coffee since i was like 10 years old, he he
You know what, though, you admitted that you were just throwing your opinion out there and owned up to it. I can't speak for Lynora, but I imagine she appreciates it.
We've had...another...who decided to stick to his uninformed opinions and make an ass of himself. :S
I have a coworker, who is basically a single mom, and her son acted out pretty bad in school. She was anti-drug too, and it took her several months of testing and counseling to find out that the drugs were the only answer. If you care about your child, it's an agonizing decision.
Eric, I will say that IMO people who just reach for drugs first are in the wrong, and I know Lynora and Solnes have been exploring any other angle first, which is admirable.
Going to drive to Raleigh with my favorite coworker at the company. If you hear about a car accident where the whole passenger side of the car has been sheared off, that might be me. :S

Yeah, I looked over in that thread, which brought the attention of the Mona, so I figured i didn't want to go that route. I have enough to be worried about now, he he

Yep, they did forgive me, very nicely to I might add, he he.

Just found out the President spoke ten blocks from our store yesterday. No, he didn't stop in and buy anything. So much for his commitment to Main Street.

I hope Taig checks back in. I wonder how long of a drive it is?
Just a song, or has the black dog gotten hold of the green man today? He seems to be getting everyone here lately.

'Twas a joke. Our store's on Main Street. As if I expect The Man to stop in and buy something!

Goooood morning everyone. It's been a crazy one so far. Bike got a flat last night(tis why I disappeared in the middle of the posting on Lynora's son, which sucks because it's the one topic I actually have some information on), which caused it to fall over making a hellcious noise that completely ruined my approaching zen. Went out at a relatively ungodly hour to get it fixed, not realizing until I was halfway to the bike shop that TODAY was their late night. I dragged the bike to work today, where I discovered that one of the people who was in the pool tournament I'm running for my members decided to show up early today but only had a half hour to play, so I had to rush to find someone for him to play, and that person did so only grudgingly, even more upset because they actually lost to the latecomer. I've got a quarterly advisory meeting in half an hour, tons of paperwork to catch up on in the meantime, and a supervisory meeting, which I am not looking forward to because I had to stand up to my boss and defend my members playing pool when they should have been at the daily community meeting instead.
On the bright side, so much is happening that I may actually gain a level before the day is out! :-D

Well, good luck with that. :)
I hope your day gets a little less hectic and that you get your bike tire fixed. And that your boss is in an inexplicably good mood for the meeting. :)

Mmmm...nutrients.
And I thought poodles were completely useless. Other than the satisfactory feeling of their impact against one's foot as one forcibly launches them skyward, of course.
Eric..the .....other...Taig was speaking of was someone that posted in the FawtL threads. He jumped on the hubby and I and made an ass out of himself. But feelings were hurt, which may be why I was a bit jumpy last night.
You are right, meds are a LAST option. And I know that for Lyn and I ... they were our last option. And I know for a fact that it was just as hard for her and her husband as it was for us. We shared that in experience together and have been each others sounding boards.
I wonder if the hubby will get home early since its raining pretty steady. I hope if he does its within the next 30 minutes, so he can get the kidlet from school.
The rain is bad bad bad for my new hair style.
