All David has to do is hit Lucas with a continuity error, and while Lucas struggles to justify it then he would administer the killing blow by quoting Orson Scott Card or some other decent Sci-Fi.
If he's allowed one of the original A New Hope movies, he could just threaten to prove to the world that Han indeed shot first.
The only real threat is that Lucas will start quoting Jar Jar Binks. Then David's a dead duck.

I'm not sure. Geoge seems to shrug off continuity errors like water off a duck's back.

And going Jar Jar? I think David would just Rage and use his Rage Power of Immunity to Stupid.

Actually Mr. Lucas and I are old friends. I used to live in Marin County and he would attend career day at our school every year and one year I got to be his tour guide. Our scoutmaster also worked for him and we got to go camping at Skywalker Ranch several times a year. He even let us have a peek at the ideas he had for Episodes 7-9 one time.
