[Whew] For a minute there, I thought you said awful.

Only a bloody norwege would make such a nitpicky point.

Use the Swordsage (ToB) with the spell variant using spells instead of maneuvers

I vote Duskblade. It is a really good mix.

It's neither Norwegian nor nit-picky. It's English and the meaning's different. [Sips hot tea to calm flnff-filled stomach.]

Says the bloody norwege.

So you saw Jackass 2 as well then?

EDIT: Oh and to keep on topic: I like the Duskblade. I have played a couple and I think they are a good class (if slightly overpowered).

Wow. I've never been called a norwege before. Do I get something for that? An honorary knighthood from the King of Norway wouldn't be as good as one from HRM, but I'd take it.

bloody norweges filling the world with bloody flnff they can't afford to bloody eat. (kudos if you know the refrence :))

Really? I had not found that to be the case. YMMV different game different player... I do like them though. I think that their spell list needs to be tweaked for whatever game they are in to suit the game.

Personally, I prefer the Arcane Legionary myself, even if the name needs work.

The Players Guide to Bards, Sorcerers & Wizards (Scarred Lands, Sword & Sorcery) had a PrC called the Wizard of White Flame, which did the warrior/wizard concept with the twist of having the armored wizard stick to fighting with a quarterstaff (through which he eventually learned to channel touch spells in melee combat, etc.).

I was fond of it for sticking with the traditional Wizard's staff.

Heathansson wrote:

Speaking of, please don't say 'gish' again. ;)

Then what kind of niche is left for a gish gnish?

Mairkurion {tm} wrote:

Dress him kitsch and he would fill the Kitsch Dresser niche.

Gish gnish kitsch niche, if you will.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

Would the gish gnish in the kitsch niche eat knishes?

The gish gnish in the kitsch niche only eat dished knishes?

swordmage?

I like the figher / Battle Sorc / Prestige Bard route. (Sorcerer and Bard variants in Unearthed Arcana), honestly, the battle sorcerer variant works on its own too.

Ubermench wrote:

Delish. However, the gish gnish in the kitsch niche eschews fishy knishes.

I hates them gishes to pishes!!!

maybe there should just be a class called a Gish

Gish in one hand and s+$* in the other......tell me which one fills up first.

*crickets chirping*

A woman needs a munchkin, like a gish needs a bicycle.

If we are only talking about official classes, my favorite would be the Bladesinger.

I think I'm gonna have a smurf gish day, and say gish any time a smurf would say smurf.

You're dissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssspickable.

Damn, you've got a good memory, Heathy ol pal.

I can tell you which thread will fill up first...

Shouldn't that smurf "gissssssssssssssssssshpickable?"

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

This thread is so old, LKL was still speaking to me, even if he was calling me a bloody Norwegian. (Still haven't gotten any oil revenue checks.)

Yeah; that guy can really gish it out, but he can't smurf it.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path, Tales, Battles Case Subscriber)

Damn, the boards are also undergoing some major necromancy. People should go find threads in which I was brilliant, before school totally fried my mind.

With that avatar, I always hear his posts in David Kaye's voice.

I wonder if James has a rubber duckie?

Ah...outside my world. Although, David Kaye's voice sounds different as that guy, I think. For me for him, dawg, Keith David's voice has the right combo of toughness and coolness.

He does a lot of voicework. He also sounds completely different in the three Battlestar Galactica episodes he was in.

Maybe Fryer would crunch up a PrC around the old 1st edition Ranger?

Edit: Never mind. They want something more powerful & crunchy than an Eldritch Knight with minimal (no) drawbacks... munchkins on steroids.
