Ah, that eternal question?
1) Thunderstorms at night.
The smile of my son.
(Aaawww)
To crush your enemies...
Hearing that the neighbor kid with the drum-set who wants to play at 5:00 am will be going away for college...
see them driven before you...
Smoking Hawt Babes!!! (oYo)
Thunderstorms at night, when you are a *guest* in the house and don't have to worry about wind/hail damage to your property...
Never mind Ahnold's version of the character. Straight from Robert E. Howard's tale, "Queen of the Black Coast":
Conan of Cimmeria wrote:
Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and priests and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content.
and hear the lamentations of their women!
best pick-me-up: Nutella
best weather: cool, very windy preceding a huge storm
best time of day to take a walk: ~3 am
best rpg: Pathfinder, of course
best ending to a day: sleeping in the nude
The answer to the question, "What is best in Life?", is plan enough for all to see
Freshly microwaved underwear on a cold winter morning.
Sleeping in a warm dry bed and knowing where your next meal is coming from.
Beer.
....and brainnnnnnsssss.
Knowing that you can handle anything life throws at you with grace.

Best thing in life is making the tough choices in life and seeing yourself in a better place because of them.
I have a apartment now instead of sleeping under park benches, I have a carrer instead of a job,I have an education instead of my next hit.
The best thing in life is being proud with the life you have and looking to the future with hope about where your going to next.
- coming home after a long day
Knowing things and being right.
*straps in for values dissonance*
Sitting with my arm around Natasha's waist, with a good dog snoring on the floor nearby, and a spectacular sunset over Lake Superior like the fiery palette of the divine Artist blazing silently in the sky, with the crickets singing and the air so fresh that it seems never to have been breathed before.
The blinding glory of the hour that stretches.

The best thing in life is being proud with the life you have and looking to the future with hope about where your going to next. Amen, brother. Amen.
Spinning a 10 and then landing on a space that let you move three spaces forward where you get a promotion.
The look on my dog's face when she wants to jump on the couch to sit next to me.

Plopping down into a comfy chair to spend a lazy afternoon reading, instead of pining over all of life's misfortunes.
While all the things mentioned here so far are excellent, I live for three things, (not ranked in order of importance):
1=sleep
2-food
3-companionship
Everything else is a waste of time.

Well said. I add 'gaming', whether video games or RPGs or collectible card gaming, to that.
Being in the middle of a raging moshpit.
God I miss it.

2: Health of your loved ones and yourself
3: Love and Companionship.
4: Family.
If you have and can smile at the silly giggles of a child (or even laugh or giggle yourself), you have found peace.

Best in life in october.
A man; a pumpkin; a keyhole saw; and a wicked mind with artistic flair :)
Playing Teaparty, GIJoes on the floor, the drop it game. Cuddling on the couch with Solnes. Knowing that no matter how bad it gets, we will be there for eachother. My family.
Finally getting my kids back after a long legal battle with the ex; at least I am having a partial family and that is pretty good.
