Just living here. I came for a contract archaeology job back in 2000, but with the constantly dwindling budgets, that came to an end recently. I'm in the big "pimpin' myself out to get the hell out of here" phase now.

I remember people from France, Sweden, Hungary, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Canada posting on these boards as well, and probably forgot a score more.
I am in Munich, Germany and just returned from Barcelona, Spain. They have quite some FLGS over there and there are much much much more books translated into Spanish than there are in German, so I guess the Spanish are quite the gamers, too.

D&D books in Germany have a long history of, say, less than enthusiastic translators/companies selling them - and many german gamers prefer Das Schwarze Auge anyway - it is classic fantasy as well, and has a lot of support.
I have mostly given up on buying german RPG products, and buy most D&D stuff in english nowadays.
I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It's the City of Brotherly Love, where the sports fans will attack you if they even think you might be considering rooting for the opposing team.
However, I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and will always think of that place as home.
This september me (and half the game group plus a couple of non-gaming friends) are trying to organise a route 66 adventure in a camper truck! I've never been to the State before and we're all really looking forward to it -only hope it dosent get Wrong Turn or Hills Have Eyes. Still I can always try and go Roadhouse on the baddies!

Not really. I live on the south shore (St-Basile-le-Grande - about 20 min down the 116 from the Victoria bridge). I used to live downtown (on Atwater north of Sherbrooke) before I was married.
Unfortunately, with a wife and 3 kids, the only night free I have is already filled with my Tuesday night game.

The Disney/Pixar movie Cars has a cool little set of bonus features on the DVD that talk about some of the history of route 66 and the movie is about a small town on route 66 that was bypassed and all but died-out, oh, and a race. Good movie to watch. You may want to rent it to get some ideas on Route 66, if you don't have kids and own it already. If you have kids, buy it. It is the best kids movie I have seen ever.

Years ago the federal goverment threatened to rename Philadelphia if the fans did not behave. It would have been called "Detroit".
